...if only he didn't have those spindly legs.

A sad throwback to the days of comedic rogering.

I picked up the Black Series K-2SO and actually like the droid's proportions...really looking forward to adding this to my collection.

He will, he is light version of HK. Probably even i will like him a lot.

I wish these figures were somehow made with the knowlegde that they will be displayed 99.999& of the time with the light effects turned off. For all of the nice realism of the figure, it's going to sit in displays with two black holes in it's head instead of eyes. IG-88 and the Jawas have the same issue.

In other words, just give me two brightly painted eyes that look like they're glowing? I'm all for that. Most light up features are just a silly novelty to me.

Count me in for that as well.

I never use any electronic features on figures.

But rather than paint, coloured plastic lenses can also work really well to catch the light in the room. Maybe not so on Jawas because the hoods create a shade.

If either HT or SSC could come up with a standardized system for triggering electronic features it would be great - so you could at least trigger all the various lights, or even have smartphone control of individual figures.

They have wireless recharge of phones now, so the option of a no-batteries powering of the features would also be great. It's the batteries, all the little switches etc., the location of the switches, that makes so many electronic features pretty much useless.

The best electronic feature I've ever seen - which I use all the time - is the SSC 3PO's eyes. It looks incredibly realistic and is so easy to tap on and off, not having to mess with the figure/pose. While the chin sculpt is a little off, it's still one of my favorite 1/6 figs.

I don't use light-up features either although I still have the batteries in the SSC R2 and 3PO, which should probably be remove. Just imaging what it's going to take to light up the Hulkbuster...a bunch of battery compartments and switches; HT really shouldn't bother unless it could be accomplished with one switch.

I actually like the option of having lighting features. It's Hot Toy's implementation of those lighting features that are head-scratching, most of the time.

With the Sideshow 3PO I like that the eyes can light up and power down - you can have him slumped over and turned off. That would look great if you had the Hot Toy's Falcon cockpit.

Any thoughts as to when this will be up for PO?

Your guess is as good as ours. We've seen the shots from the cons yet only Chirrut has been put up so far. My guess is Hot Toys may have been advised to hold all character PO's until the film's release. Perhaps there are some accessories or exclusives that may be spoilerish.

Then again they kind of bulldozed us with a bunch of Stormtrooper preorders. I just wish K2 could have been one of the first so he'd be close to or already been released.
