Looks great! Unfortunately this one has the ankle bunching issue. For the life of me I don't understand why Hot Toys continues to not apply that small plastic part that they have for other Spider-Man figures like the VGM 2099 figure.

This is a problem they have resolved years ago, yet they continue to let it be an issue on future releases. Oh well, it's an issue I guess I can overlook on what is otherwise a fantastic release.

Maybe they should have done both, cheaper giant action figure version and suited version.
But I think pre-orders were so low that they decided to just do the suited version.

Hot Statues.
I repose all my figures at the start of the month.

These figures aren’t statues, but they aren’t Yamaguchi pose machines either.

They can pose, there are limitations, and it’s up to each collector to determine how often that is and how far they’re willing to push it.

You may enjoy Marvel Legends and SH Figuarts more.

Hot Toys are for accuracy, not pose-ability.
makes sense. i know they don't spend any money at all on custom bodies to ensure that their FIGURES look good when POSED or that there isn't an entirely separate line with FIXED poses. everyone i know buys Hot Toys to just leave them standing with their arms down at their side and legs and back straight with the head forward. hell, we all know Spider-Man(Men) are known for their static and not dynamic poses!

You can clearly pose it. It just has limits. If you’re too scared to play around with it then that’s a you problem.

Clearly not many people wanted the jointed version, if it was selling well they wouldn’t have revised it.

Plenty of jointed figures out there with crazy articulation if thats your thing instead.

it's a me problem to worry about damaging a figure from any kind of basic posing? if there wasn't any rational thinking behind it maybe, but looking at the long list of creasing and tears from the material on their figures it hardly seems a me problem.

Sorry I'm just not paying nearly $300 for this:

I would just pick up SHFiguarts for $100 at that point.

Sure as hell wouldn't display him next to Miles and Gwen which are both fully fabric. He looks extremely out of place. I get wanting the full range of articulation without worrying about damage but with Hot Toys catalog, them going fully jointed on this just makes no sense. Especially at the prices that they charge.

If Miles and Gwen were both also fully jointed then I can see it sliding by, like Mondo figures, but that just isn't the case here.

Yeah, it’s a you problem. If you know how to handle these figured and what their limits are then you wont have any problems.

In pretty much every superhero figure thread there’s people whining about fabric creasing. That’s what it does, it’s fabric, it creases.

Real full scale clothing creases and tears from everyday wear and tear. I’m not sure what people expect from a 1/6 figures.

Again, plenty of alternatives out there to suit your needs.
