Yeah, just a few seconds in... That is not a "spoiler free" review. It goes into detail about things not in the trailers.
Here is a quick mock up..
This tiny detail is gonna bug the heck out me.
(although looks like they solved it with the empty cowl, with the leafs curled down in the mold.
Also curious what the 89 track-belt would look like on this?
Look at the panel lines on the outer thighs. Did Ryan Meinerding sneak into their art department or is this an MCU crossover? Lame.As much as I appreciate this being a clear evolution from the Returns suit with all of it's paneling, I think I still would have preferred something closer to the 89 or Panther suit in style, as the more muscled look just seems so much more iconic and Keaton Batman to me.
It does kinda look like what would happen if Tony Stark designed a Batsuit.Look at the panel lines on the outer thighs. Did Ryan Meinerding sneak into their art department or is this an MCU crossover? Lame.
Either version will look so nice in front of the Jazz Inc Batmobile.God damnit. Now I'm tempted to get one Batmobile either for the 89 figure or this version.
I still get nothing but Kingdom Come on Earth-89 from this guy. Like a cleaner version of this: Batman (Earth-89) Kingdom Come Suit — Phil ChoIt does kinda look like what would happen if Tony Stark designed a Batsuit.
I don’t really get that vibe at all. I think the panel lines are just more of a general aesthetic choice used on a lot of modern superhero costumes. It does kinda look like what would happen if Tony Stark designed a Batsuit.
This just confirms HT is going to do everything from The Flash. Smart move, since we won't get any more DC figures until the Gunnverse starts.
