Anybody know of any Sideshow promo codes that will work on this guy?
Has Sideshow put out any promo codes at all lately? It doesn't even seem like they've been on the boxes for a few months.

Well I've collected hot toys for many years. And in the rare instance of changes made from a first to a second run or what not, the change is usually extremely minor. Example being the issue with the wrists on Deadpool. Sometimes as a quality control issue like the rubber on the old DX Batman. I don't ever remember seeing an example where a body was changed because of some initial complaint regarding it. I suppose there's a first time for everything, but the odds are lower than low. My opinion is not based on idle speculation but experience observing hot toys behavior.

We will see. At this point, its an underwhelming release. The body leaves a lot of be desired.
I don't know. The body really doesn't bother me. He's not supposed to be jacked like Cap or Thor. He's smaller with a really athletic build.
Maybe I'm just not seeing what everyone else is seeing.
His body is how it looks in the show, hes not meant to look like a meathead, the costume isnt super tight bcz of giant pecs, it sits slightly loose in places. Hes not a not a big guy.
blue tack ,,,,,,again no not really ,but i do live in a cold house ,built on running sand
managed to slip a little padding down the sides to smooth out the big hollows in his hip joints that mine had , not sure its worth the effort
I am okay with the body and glad I have this on pre-order, but I do see what others are talking about. I don't think anyone wants him to be "jacked like Cap or Thor" or to look like a "meathead", but his smaller athletic body doesn't come through on the figure either. As it has been mentioned before, this is mostly do to the lack in significance difference in the shoulder to waist ratio. His shoulders should be a tad broader or waist a tad smaller, making him actually look "athletic" as he does in the show. So I get it. I also think though that at 1/6 scale this was tricky to do without a Hot Toys making a body exclusively for this figure, which can't be done all the time because it's not cost effective. Wider shoulders but still on a smaller body would have helped. Or, find a way to make the clothing tighter around the waist, but this would have limited articulation even more than what they already have. It's always a bit of a trade off with all these kinds of things and some characters create more challenges to make a this scale than others. In the end I think they got an over all good result, but it's just not a home run this time (they all can't be). But it's certainly not garbage or a failure either. I am encouraged by the head sculpt and the accessories and think he is possible just enough to be able to come up with poses which make him a bit more athletic looking than what you would see if you had him just in a museum pose. Sometimes I have held out for a more perfect version of a figure. I am doing that with Wonder Woman right now, but I think the odds are this MCU DD will be the only one we get. I am looking forward to having him.
His lack of a neck just really puts me off. It looks like he's hunching. I definitely have to try that neck mod someone did.
I will say that in those Suiping photos the neck looks very different than it does in person. It looks very pushed down there compared to mine, which looking at him atm he actually has a neck
Anyway....

But I do like the ears better on the first mask.
