The boots being two pieces is really putting me off of this figure. I get by doing that it allows for more range of motion and posing options, but if the suit restricts what you could actually have the figure do, why not go for a solid boot? Does anyone know of a 1/6 scale pair boots that could replace the ones that the figure comes with?

I was going to try the Avengers Captain America boots. Their even the right color.

Things bother me about this.

But I like him and he’s grown oh me as the hours pass. But these are the issues

1) his diaper, especially how it looks on his right leg. I don’t know why this is padded. Level it bothers me 9/10
2) his long neck, it’s almost not a problem he does have a short neck in the suit. But it’s still short and the color is too thick which does not help. Level it bothers me 6/10
3) his two piece boots - would be better with leather boots anyways . It bothers me 3/10
4) he is not v shaped enough - waist too thick - bothers me 7/10
5) limited articulation - but still pretty good , it bothers me 2/10
6) no cox head- it would be shocking if he had one anyways, maybe back in 2009

To be fair, the season two / Defenders suit that this is based on doesn't really have much of a v-shape to begin with.

The S1 one version did look a bit more form fitting but I guess it was maybe too tight to move around in so they embiggened it.

1) Maybe you can adjust the padding through the suit? Probably not easy, and it's not a suit I'd want to try and take off. I think it's there to prevent the suit drawing into the hip joints.

3) I'm not a fan of the boots either. While they're intended to increase articulation, I don't like how they visibly separate so I'd only position the feet as I would with solid boots. Hence, for my purposes they're an over-engineered nuisance.

4) This has been a problem from the beginning, but once I got him it didn't bother me as I expected.

5) Articulation is a tricky one, because I trust the suit as much as I trust seamless arms. So any long term dynamic pose would concern me. In turn articulation becomes a moot point. He's destined to stand with his arms and legs in safe poses. Though the suit naturally wrinkles behind the knees, and it's unavoidable. It's an area that could split in time, but I have no idea how this material will fare.

6) I put the grimacing sculpt on first. Then the following day tried the passive sculpt and kept it on as the crooked mouth sells the belief that it's Charlie Cox in the suit.

I think Vimal Kerketta will be doing a Charlie Cox sculpt through OneSixthKit.

This figure is nice to have, and it feels good to have him in the collection since the other Defenders are either made or in the works.

But he doesn't evoke any strong emotions. He doesn't have the wow factor of a Deluxe Jyn.

Deluxe Jyn is bright flash in the dark times of high priced bare bones figures. Don't get use to it.

I got Daredevil the other day and was surprised how limiting his posing options are. Yeeesh. It looks and feels like his right arm might rip the fabric at the seam, near the shoulder, if I try to lay his arm as flush as possible to the side.

They should have just gone ahead and bulked up his physique a bit. I didn’t even bother taking more than a few pics. Not sure it’s even worth the trouble to show them, lol.

I had originally canceled this and now I’m wishing I had stayed with that mentality. They really need to work on making figures more posable. Perhaps invest in crafting a new kind of durable fabric, that has a lot of give. Maybe one exists? I don’t know. I’m not a seamstress.

Finally got mine today! He is awesome. A very nice looking figure. Regardless, I see what most are talking about when complaining about the body choice. He is too scrawny in the arms and needs more bulk in his torso. That said, I still love it. DD is my absolute favorite character and this is my collection's mona lisa.

I bought the suit and head parted out, put them on a captain america body. Doesn't look too bad, the jacket top got stretched a little around the waist. 2017-10-17 15.33.28-2.jpg
