Sold out at BBTS days ago..surprised SS still got both versions up ..maybe people are avoiding SS because of the high shipping costs or they are waiting for better versions when BOBF releases next year :dunno
How much stocks allocations BBTS got from SS ? Like 5 or something. :ROFLMAO:

My “inside source“ has told me that SS heavily restricts (think below 70 units each) for everything from Hot Toys to other venders. They also threaten to cut off any retailer from HT products If they carry unlicensed figures. So when you see venders sell out quickly it is because they’ve run out of their allocation. If you think about how few retailers there are in this hobby, it’s not hard to see why they sell out so quickly

You've made goods points TB.

Another old show that relied heavily on a similar premise by the use of flashbacks, to great effect, was the 1972 tv series Kung Fu with David Carradine as... "Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk who travels through the American Old West, armed only with his spiritual training and his skill in martial arts, as he seeks Danny Caine, his half-brother."

It could be a very compelling form of story telling by filling in the missing pieces of the past, while he's off on new adventures. And, it donned on me... we have also been exposed to Mando's back story throught the first season by a similar flashback style.

What would JFDF do? It will be interesting to see how they approch Boba's character who has such a rich history, while providing him with an arc that moves his development forward, as just a simple man trying to make his way in the universe, among other things. 😉

Honestly, with John & Dave, I think it's in good hands.
Well, news articles were saying Pascal was saying we'd learn more about Din D'jarin, like maybe he'd go back to his village or something. "More like Season 1", or something like that. Works for me and would make sense, plus we might get more background on the Purge and how the Death Watch showed up when they did.

Like Din D'jarin asking whoever trained him about Bo-katan and these different Mandalorians. I'd be a lot happier with that than more rehash characters showing up, tho think I am a minority there. Also IMO more needs to be learned about Moff Gideon. Then there's the whole Darksaber thing - if Bo-katan won't take it, then does Din D'jarin just have to carry it around with him?

Meanwhile I might get this armor too, since the with the other set gives mix/match possibilities. But not the throne $$$$$

BRUH. If you own the Darksaber, that thing had best go everywhere with you. Like, in the shower. Under your pillow. You dont lose sight of that thing for one instant of your day - if you want to keep it. Remember, anyone can own and wield the Darksaber. The hard part is keeping it.

For someone being considered the “best in the parsec” the first episode, Din’s pretty ignorant to a lot of things. No doubt he has the skill for being a Bounty Hunter, but I’d like to actually see him learn more about the Traditional Mando culture. Especially how it contrasts to how his Cult/Coven taught him.

This guy cannot even secure his own ship when he goes walkabout across the landscape. I tolerate his cluelessness because I like him so much.

He should: Have known who Fett was on a professional level

Have known who Bo-Katan was, at least vaguely

Have known who Luke was, and what Jedi were in general.... he seems not to have known any of that. How do you not know who the guy who blew up the Death Star was?! You'd think word would get around....

This boi needs some major schoolin'.

I never seen anyone rip the fact that a Yoda species adolescent, yes adolescent is the key word, uses the force to save Din from a mudhorn. Kuill even mentions that as a Mando, he should've have easily handled one. If you rip Rey for no training, you should apply that same math to Grogu.
Since The Mando Show ultimately gave us the Boba Fett Show, technically, everyone who thought The Mandalorian was going to be about Boba Fett was correct.
That is because it should have been a Boba Fett show from the beginning. Maybe this is the genius of Favreau and Filoni. Clown Kennedy wants everything new, so they gave it to her then showed her that Boba Fett was what fans really wanted. There is a back door joke in there somewhere.

Exactly. He's got some skill but he's definitely an ignorant bozo. His strong fatherly instincts definitely goes a long way to make him very likeable though, so I can't be too hard on the guy:lol

Don't forget that IG-11 basically saves him at the end of season 1 and Bo Katan and crew saves him from getting killed by Fishermen in Season 2. Oh yeah, and Luke saves them in the season finale. So yeah, his cool armor and charisma has definitely helped but that's what Mando armor does.

But yeah, it's kinda funny to think about how alot of him was "homaged" from Boba Fett in the EU. And then they basically gave him Jango's Origin. But I'm glad Fett won't be a glorified babysitter like he's been. Unless they bring in his little sister on his show:lol

I thought it was implied or mentioned somewhere that Grogu trained at the Jedi Temple at some point before Order 66:dunno

I loved the first two Seasons of Mando, but agree that it should have been a Boba Fett show from the start. I guess if Mando is what it took to get Boba back from the dead and back into the spotlight though, I'm fine with it.:lol

Not sure where Justin got his info but said that Slave I is still being used in universe and called that in the BoBF. Guess unique starships don’t get names anymore in merchandise? It’s all silly but at least (hopefully) Slave I will still be called that in universe.

Was it ever called that in the movies? I don't recall unless Jango or little Boba referred to it. I might just be forgetting an instance of it though.
