1/6 Hot Toys - TMS062 - Loki - Sylvie Collectible Figure

So the sculpt turned out quite fantastic! I see some people mentioning how she looks older in the sculpt, but that's honestly how I remember her looking on the TV show...she's not exactly young and I'm glad HT is representing her age accurately in figure format.

That being said, this is a figure I won't be picking up. The character is new and really has no impact on me. Happy for the folks who want it though...if this figure is discounted heavily later on I'll consider it though.

I'll wait for a bit and see....'coz Mando purchases are adding up $$$$$ but figure there is no rush on anything with all the delayed shipping. Don't see things settling until next year, maybe.

On the fence with this but I was gonna see the pricing for it from other retailers. Anyway, I got an email that Sideshow is flagging retailers that offer free shipping and not collecting sales tax. What the **** is wrong with Sideshow?

Yeah, that was from Alter Ego Comics. Basically Sideshow is complaining that AE is offering too good of a deal.

Sylvie needs a little more emotion. Maybe just angry eyebrows. Its a great likeness but the sculpt looks pretty vacant in all the poses.

I think it is the chin that makes it a little weird. But, it could also be the angle. The sculpt looks better when you look at it from the front.

Couldn’t you say that about 90% of HT sculpts? Even the good ones?

The comparison makes the sculpt look even better.

That comparison shows her eyes are much too wide open. It loses all her contempt and scorn. And they could soften the lines on her cheek. Made her look too old. The collar should come up a little higher. Otherwise a remarkable likeness, the nose and mouth in particular.

I haven't seen this actress enough to really be familiar with her face. She looks good to me though - more realistic than many female sculpts. Malgus aint gonna like that neck joint though.

It's strange how hot toys give all these sculpted hair female figures ugly exposed neck joint and make sure it's very visible be having the sculpted hair not cover it. Not that I was even considering this figure...
