The proportions of the face look a lot better there, nice work.
After that, it’s a matter of preference if you want to keep adding thickness to the lower sides of the connector.

Ok so I went ahead and made another slight modification, I think it looks pretty good.
What do you guys think …

The sculpt on the left does look really nice IMO but yeah it does appear to be smaller

That sculpt looks awesome!

It looks to be the same overall size as the Hot Toys cowl on the right, however the exposed face area of the sculpt on the left appears a little larger than the one on the right (which I think is a good thing).

I wouldn't say it is to the same extent no. Best way to be sure is we measure them.

I think it is not quite as broad but it is similar. The Hot Toys one looks decent until you see it by one like this.

yep i agree it does make the hot toys head a little lacking

I joined the group and it seems to be a talented painter doing them, based on other folks posting work they've received from him. It's not a recast I recognize. Please post pics when you receive yours!

I need to make some sort of neck connector for it as it sits high on the wired cape. Probably be fine on a drape-style cape.

going by the distance between the base of the ears comparatively on all sculpts shown above

id have to say yours is closer to the size required to be close enough to the hot toys body proportions to look a good match

sadly mine seem a smaller distance between the ears and overall looks smaller and when on the body

and while not looking terrible cant get away from the fact it looks too small for the body its on

like a medicom head on a hot toys body

ill reach out to the seller and see if he can offer a solution
