Considering I paid less than $200 for my Tactical Batman I have no issue buying the rerelease if the proportions are corrected

Even if it was wired-it would not be able to hold or look like that pose from stock hot toys capes
Even when they do wire a cape they do it quite poorly compared to unreal/Jaxon etc.
I would say he's stiffer than the armoured version.
