The 1/6 Police Joker statue has been available for preorder for a while now. There also is a 1/6 TDKR Catwoman on Batpod statue. Both were announced before it was known that Queen would be doing 1/6 figures.

People are STILL asking queen about the preorders and they keep draging kits name into it. This is starting to piss me off but also has me partialy concerned!! Last thing we want is for queen to feel inclined to take action against kit and others and screw us all over to satisfy these sad *****!

Yeah, this’ll seriously suck if it’ll affect middleman import sites from making these figures more accessible to the rest of the world. Fingers crossed that won’t be the case.

Yep I hear you. I try to track prices and places like Kghobby in HK come out the cheapest but they appear to be getting a bad rap lately on these boards (not sure sky Ive never had a problem with them). I haven’t included One Sixth Kit in my tracking but maybe I should to compare. Toys Buying Agent is also pretty good in HK, most people here now avoid Toys Wonderland. Many people have commented the best prices have been the HK sellers once something has released and the hype has gone down you can get figures for a steal. In Australia, Sugo, Popcultcha are probably the best and don’t inflate the prices too much. Free shipping helps, Popcultcha has a great rewards system if you are willing to spend! Go Figure used to be the lowest HT price in Australia but they don’t seem to do preorders anymore, except for the BTTF2 Delorean which they have put up.

So HT releases shouldn’t pre-order sell out, you can wait until they release, see how they look in reviews and also get them cheaper than pre-order prices from places like TBA or OSK?

If thats the case then theres no real reason to pre-order unless you want the figure as soon as it comes out.
Go Figure are re-vamping their website (apparently) but they do, do pre-orders for some items if you can get there.

I rather buy local if the save is only $20-$50, it would be easier to deal with any hassles if something goes wrong?

As for specification Shop, seems no one is vouching for them?

So is the story now that Queen didn’t reopen POs for the deluxe themselves and it’s just resellers putting it up?

If that’s the case and Queen want to stop that practice then the only way to regulate it would be an outright ban on individuals or resellers ordering multiple copies or carrying their product at all and that would result in a huge loss of sales- because how the hell else are any of us gonna get ahold of them?
Or could they include a legal clause in the initial order that states no one can attempt to resell between the dates of the PO window closing and release? Seems like a lot of hassle.

I think dealing with a few pitiful whiners on fb is preferable to giving up hundreds of thousands of dollars by blocking sales to the rest of the world.

I think OSK assign a specific number of preorders and then take it off website (ie sold out) and don’t know if they put it back up but yes TBA and TW nearly always end up having stock heavily discounted later on after release.

I alternate between HK sellers and local, I just find the best price taking into account shipping, currency conversion etc. but I don’t do TW any more and canceled all my orders with them.

Shipping is up across the board although TBA is still more reasonable than say TW.

And with TW there are a number of things, outrageous shipping costs, dodgy behavior such as the Inart Joker thing and just rumors that they are not doing well. The constant discounts and sales may be a clue. I had been asking about orders that they did not have like the second Neca MacReady that they insisted they did not have yet but everyone else did have so I eventually canceled my last couple of orders with them. Easy process and got all my money back.

Re Go Figure they have not put up any HT pre-orders since this time last year except the one off of the Delorean. They were my go to place because their prices were the lowest I could find, shipping was free, it was a local business which I wanted to support and they are just the most genuine people I have ever come across in all my years of collecting. Yes their website is a pain if you want to browse but if you know what you want it’s easy to find. They still have older preorders on there and they are still honoring my nearly two year old preorders. I’ve asked them several times and they have said staff shortages and covid but I don’t think it’s that. It’s more likely a cost/politics thing. But they do have terrific older figures they put up regularly at great prices, and zero pleather etc issues.

People get mad when all HK stores re-open the PO but there were stores who never close the PO after 3 days window...

All stores please take the rooted hair version off shelf on 24th March 10 AM PST+8

Please estimate your order number and prepare deposit (which is around 20%) IF you need to stock our figure (suppose to be on shelf only after the figure is released)

With such heavy deposit, we only order 1% extra as backup

It's a big gambling to estimate high volume and continue the sales after the official cut off date unless you don't need to pay any deposit or you don't care about cancelling customer's orders if you cannot fulfill them

All HK stores re-opened it, we are 16 hours late compare to other stores

dunno why hot toys still does those stupid things. I figure they must sell well overseas or else they wouldn’t be doing them still.
