I must say I'm starting to feel differently about the deluxe the more I look at it. I'm not seeing the figure they sold me on in any of these photographs. I'd hate to lose my deposit, but there's no way I'm dropping a grand on this unless they prove otherwise before they roll them out.
I'm with you 100% on this.

Opening this thread any time there have been new pictures released

The only way I could ever see this going for 2k or more on eBay, and it actually selling, is if it looks like the prototype, is as good in hand, or if Heath himself autographed it. A lot of people wouldn’t even pay the grand for the deluxe back when all we had was promo photos and good faith, let alone now that we see it and there’s clearly a downgrade in almost every aspect.

They'll pay stupid money for this InArt Joker too in a few years.
Yup! We’ll be hearing the same thing as we do with other figures.

“Sad I missed out, I hope they reissue it”
“Wish I didn’t cancel. Now I can’t find it anywhere for less than $2000. Anyone know somewhere that might still have it in stock?”

Etc…

You'll be surprised..

The dx11 sold for more on the after market because it retailed for $270 and released back in 2012. Priced where it was, as well as customs not really being a thing until years after it released, it had wiggle room between its retail price and customs. Inart unfortunately takes that wiggle room. If you’re spending $1k, 2k, etc. on a 1:6 figure instead of a statue you might as well get into customs, you’re not only getting a better product, but you will never have to worry about the market being flooded with for sale posts trying to sell the same thing you are but for less.

Exactly it will hold its value but it cant go up too high..

Nobody would pay that unless they were stupid. You can get a custom for that money
Regular ppl who aren’t as deep in this space or even aware of customs will. There are also collectors who only buy officially licensed items. Gotta remember that just b/c we here are aware of these things, we’re a small amount of ppl relatively speaking.

From my own experience, my brother collects as well but he collects way more vintage stuff than 1/6 stuff so he doesn’t know about Yunsil, Yixie, Mike Yuan etc like we do. But he knows way more about vintage figures than I do or even care to learn. He knows Sideshow and Hot Toys, but when ThreeZero came out with the Power Rangers line he asked me if they were a legit company so he would know if it was safe to order them

Not all collectors are on social media either, so for any one to say the majority of ppl are upset by InArt, it’s just the vocal minority on those platforms. A lot of collectors only find out about new items from the email newsletters of the shops they buy from.

Anyone here remember when you used to get your new figure info and have to order with your local shop through the “Previews” magazine and the order form at the back? My old comic shop was STILL using that method if you wanted to order any collectibles when I stopped going there about 5 years ago :lol
