Man. Im excited. The sculpt alone is incredible...The whole set, well tailored suit, etc. Must own, definitive.
I’m all in on this one. This link confirms the silver slide on the Glock.
You only have 3 days starting from monday so decide FAST.I’m all in on this one. This link confirms the silver slide on the Glock.
I’ll have to consider selling some of my collection to get the rooted two pack. Tough decisions to make…
You could possibly sell one of them to recoup $ lolWell this is super damn frustrating. All I really needed was the smirking sculpt with rooted hair and the purple jacket, but in order to get that I have to pay $900 for a deluxe set with two figures? How the heck did they come up with that idea?
I have to say I haven't been this excited about a figure in a very long time. The hobby just took a very big leap forward!
And I'm not even a huge Nolan Batman fan. But I love Ledger's Joker.
OSKWhere is everyone ordering from?
You get the seamless hands with the standard too, no? Seems like that ticks the most boxes without being redundant.I'm not crazy about the Jail Joker sculpt actually, so the sculpted deluxe is out of the question despite the decent pricing.
I either go standard sculpted -- just one Joker for the shelf...
...or I go big. Double up on rooted hair Jokers.
I just really don't need the jail Joker (or his background bars)... but I do love those hands.
I mean I definitely agree, shouldn't have to/want to do that. But I can't help thinking about future options. Not sure if it's the kitbasher/customizer in me, but it just comes naturally to me to think about a solution when there's a potential pain point with these figures and thinking "well...I can fix that".No way I'd spend $1000 on a doll and then do a body swap!
At least, not for the first year.
Thing is though the rooted hair seemed like a big selling point for this figure in particular. It just seems kind of like a letdown in some ways. Still an impressive release, but somewhat disappointing.I think they did that to limit the number of rooted copies that will be produced, no way in hell they could mass produce these and keep the same quality across all copies, plus it's only available for PO for 3 days, they're making things easy for themselves.
Full figure map of all versions with dimensions listed.
If they had a rooted standard version for $550 I would heavily consider it, over $1000 for 2 figures and a diorama base I might not even have space for? No.I guess we were all sort of right and sort of wrong with the pricing
Feel like I'm going to go for the super big rooted extra extra deluxe version though buying a custom head is usually like $150 minimum these days, then rooted costs you minimum $300 plus getting it painted, so then you're looking at $1000 just for the head, not to mention the shipping back and forth between artists. At least, that's how I'm rationalizing this purchase

It is definitely the best bargain and a great price. You get the seamless hands with the standard too, no? Seems like that ticks the most boxes without being redundant.
