Thats interesting the hair on yours looks different from everyone elses and personally I think it looks better. It makes sense that its a sample. I would accept the blu tac if my joker comes out looking like the one you have

I'm not fussed about the Blu tact. Not enough to risk getting a replacement with actual visual issues. And since I would need to destroy the sculpt prior to getting my replacement nope.

I am a big supporter of InArt and I'm ready to overlook all these issues with loose heads in containers and weak magnets and heavy guns and two left arms, etc... but this blu-tac thing is a bridge too far for me.

Would that require people to destroy the sculpt? I'm pretty happy with the quality hair work and color variation (brown/green) so Id hate to have to destroy the head and risk getting a sculpt with other more glaring issues or more green in the hair etc.

There really isn't inherently wrong with the headsculpt other than the missing magnets. It's the use of blue tack that's really unbecoming and very unacceptable.

Let’s get a look at the actual face on the ones with blu-tac. If people are receiving factory ‘samples,’ I’d like to compare that to a mass production run piece.

If the quality of the face and hair is up to scratch then InArt should send the magnets and some glue out.

Odd mistake to make though. You’d assume those sample heads would end up stored away from the production line so My assumption is that whoever was boxing figures one day saw the heads and thought ‘they look ready’ and either forgot or didn’t know about the blu tac inside. Then someone higher up arrives and asks where those sample heads have gone and that’s how Kit got alerted to the issue before it was reported here.

Trying to use this image as a backdrop for my joker display. Anyone have any recommendations or photoshop skills where we can get this image to look good in 15x15 without distorting the image too much?

I am trying to wrap my head around the use of blu tack and InArt thinking that this is an acceptable solution. For the price of the deluxe this is just asinine and completely unacceptable— they should offer 20% back to those few affected people.
