1/6 INART (Queen Studio) - The Dark Knight - Joker Collectible Figure

There’s “disposable income”, and then there’s “F*** it YOLO LMAO” income

Personally, if I were I gonna drop 1K for anything DC related, it’d have to be a prop replica such as a Bat Cowl, OR…an InArt deluxe set

Here are the things I’ve dropped 1k+ for any one particular thing:

DC related - Jazzinc’s Justice mobile, Jazzinc’s The Batmobile, InArt’s Deluxe Joker

Non DC stuff - Bandai’s Metal Structure RX-93 NU Gundam…that’s only because I underestimated it’s limited production run and didn’t PO immediately when it went up. It was LIMITED AF so I had to buy it $300-$400 over market.

PRIME 1 studio’s 1/4 DMCV Dante statue. I just had to get it lol.

I think that’s about it. They have to be unique in order for me to drop a G. And by unique, I mean they have to be a one of a kind, not a custom version of something that already exists I.e. Joker’s outfit. Absolutely not judging anyone with the cash and passion to get a 1/6 outfit for 1K…I just can’t find the personal justification.

It has to be a full figure, headsculpt and all.

Most money I've ever spent on one piece is the EFX X-wing, $6500 if you factor the base as well. Still hurts. Recently paid $3K for the autograph plaque for my MR Millennium Falcon which makes it my most expensive combined purchase at $8500. Hate I did it but love the pieces so much. What we spend will always be questionable to many but understandable to others in the community. Have at it!

I was CURIOUS about prime 1’s 2ft. Tall Godzilla statue which was I think about…2K? Or 2.5k?

Anyways, I got cold feet and decided not to pull the trigger. I think once you break ANOTHER barrier of entry…it snowballs until you find yourself hovering over the “order” button for something that costs 10K, saying to yourself “eh, I already spent 9K on X…what’s another 1k for Y”

The most I’ve spent, and still spending on is a 1/6 Raiders Indiana Jones. I’m definitely over $1k at this point and I don’t even have a headsculpt for it yet. However, if I like the JND Indiana Jones that they’ve teased, I’ll easily be able to sell off all my custom pieces, the DX05 and Sideshow TOD to pay for it and probably have money left over

Oh snap that’s right! I’d totally forgot Jazzinc’s BVS Batwing! At the time I had to begrudgingly pass on it due to price and the SIZE and never looked back.

I’m just learning thru you it got canceled! Damn. That’s a shame! It looked SO BAD***!

Have they hinted if they’ll give it another shot?

I’m hardly ever on the custom site, but I remember glossing through that thread and cringing a few times - notably over that poor dude who received no communication about his order status whatsoever, only to discover his name was taken off the list out of spite. Good grief.

Yea kid sat patiently from 2016 to summer of 2019. Watched everyone receive theirs, posting photos once they received it. Asked others on the run if they’ve received theirs to finally asking RO where his was. Finally got an answer after his was already sold. Zero communication, zero respect.
I don’t personally know the reason nor have I reached out to ask, but that’s very ******. We can all talk ****, bicker and joke around with each other but that’s taking it too far.

Idk, it’s been a minute. They’re not supposed to be, but they will work on either side, some people didn’t get magnets in theirs so there’s that.
