Not totally shocked by this news. They won't like being outdone by the recent Hot Toys Joker. Head to head their figure should have been the clear winner as it was The Batman.

As long they offer a single rooted hair figure I'll consider it. Not interested in any two packs or dioramas though.

It’s the obvious thing to do after JND bombed their joker and HT has just shown their hand, which is decent but far from definitive.

Given the quality of Atredes, I think inArt can knock it out with a 2.0 and be kings of the mass produced Joker 1/6 market. Given it’s THE most popular character ever made in the 1/6 space, that in itself is reason enough to do a 2.0

I’m excited to see what they come up with

Also excited to see their Bale Batman. the 1/12 has a better Bale likeness than anything HT or even JND has done so far

As if the 1.0 wasn't a big enough slap in the face for those who bought one (myself included) they're going ahead and doing a 2.0 with less than 10 releases down the hatch...

Distasteful if you ask me.
But not surprising.

When they show that thing, I won't refrain. I'm going to be loud and critical.

*I already know after Superman, that any information I send them would fall on deaf ears.

Let's see them wing it.

I personally welcome this, as long as it’s a real, honest attempt at producing a “definitive” TDK Joker. Probably wouldn’t happen but I’d want something as good as this:

Lately, I’ve had reservations about the INART 1.0. The ginger hair and the light purple coat have been bothering me a lot lol. With all this discussion on TDK Joker, I think I’m in for an upgrade.

It might just be a different look from the film like his bank robber, nurse or parade cop outfits.

Doesn't make much sense to do another purple coat version already.
I personally hope it’s another purple coat. The 1.0 left much to be desired.

Also, if we take INART at their word, WB doesn’t allow Nurse Joker collectibles. Probably due to the scene in which he blew up a hospital.

Give me a mean looking Joker done right based on a movie still where he’s got more makeup. I don’t want a smeared makeup look or a portrait based on a promo image.

That Heise remake looks very good. I'd be happy with that.

Lol, where's the Joker is boring do something new and the too soon crowd?

They should do another one, and they'll get it right probably, but doing it this soon seems a slap in the face.

I was kinda hoping for the opposite. Laughing sculpt with smeared makeup.

Maybe they can do both. It was disappointing how similar the two sculpts were last time. Mars Toys, we got three completely different sculpts.

I think every Joker should come with one laughing or grinning sculpt.

I’m hoping that’s part of the old WB censorial (won’t somebody think of the children!!) approach that included the ban on weapons or refusing to make a Phoenix Joker for under 1K.

That’s out the window now so perhaps (for those interested in nurse Joker) WB realise that their moral stance here means they’re perfectly content in selling figures of a guy who kidnaps, tortures, murders, robs, blows up politicians, makes criminals kill each other for a spot on his crew, throws an innocent woman out of a window and then blows her up simply to antagonise Batman, takes half of Dent’s face off then sends him on a killing spree, and attempts to make two ferries full of citizens or prisoners blow the other up to save themselves just to prove a point about human nature; all of that is permissible behaviour and merchandise material because he’s wearing his villainous outfit (or a clown mask) but when he blows up an empty building in a nurses uniform, he’s crossing the line and WB must protect us from such heinous imagery…
Let’s also not forget the assassination attempt he makes while wearing a ceremonial police uniform. It’s fine to market and sell that without causing offence for some reason.
