You and me both! :lol My heart leaps every time I see his thread bumped...

I am told he's up very soon  It has been a long wait, but it will be worth it!

Still can't thank you enough for your work on the sculpt :duff

It was my pleasure man! I'm so happy you decided to stick to the project, I started it literally the day before the HT figure was announced, but once we saw the sculpt I'm sure we would have still anted to go through with it anyway. Trev's sculpt can't be beat and with Josh painting it it will be the REAL holy grail! Also given that there is literally so few of those heads and you're might be the only one painted by Josh makes it really priceless in a way.

My thoughts exactly :) Even if the HT figure turns out to be everything I want it to be (doubtful), I will still be ecstatic to display my custom.

What is being done to yours marf exactly?

Well I've pieced together an Indy outfit over the last 2 years, and now I'm just waiting for Josh (small_studios) to paint a 1/6 PF sculpt (that Ray was kind enough to modify for me) to finish it up! :)

It's going to be amazing...

I'm also getting close to finishing up my Henry Sr. Real umbrella and headplay heads with new shoes and bowtie. I still like V2 HP head better but the other one on a few pages back looked real nice too. I may get both just for fun.

the size is great though. SS's was way oversized.

Thanks for the compliments, fellas!

I forgot to ask, but what pants are those? They are the perfect pink for Last Crusade.

And what whip are you using?

They are the original SS pants. They were dyed with a little magenta Rit Dye. The whip was made by a seller on eBay, using real roo hide. Although his user ID escapes me at the moment. Something like eaglewhips... The whip is almost perfect scale.

The paint work on this head is exceptional. That's probably the best stubble I have seen at any scale. This doesn't change the fact that the sculpt itself looks less like Harrison Ford than the current Hot Toys sculpt. I realize a lot of people have undyeing love for this particular sculpt and I'll probably get flamed for saying so but I just don't see it.

You aren't the only one. It lost something from the 1/4 to 1/6 conversion.

I never cared for the 1/4 scale version of that sculpt either. The mouth really bothered me. In most of the iconic images of Indiana Jones he had a determined expression with his mouth closed. Not sure why SS made his mouth that way, but it ruined it for me. I am also bothered by the apathy surrounding the fact that this particular head is basically a recast, but that's another issue. As long as Raymond's happy with it I guess it really doesn't matter what the rest of us think. I gave upon the Hot Toys Indy months ago. Now I'm trying to piece together an Indy I'm happy with.

Going to have to disagree that Indy needs a serious expression, I think a cocky smirk captures the character just as well. Besides, there are too many serious sculpts out there, I always welcome a sculpt that offers a change of expression. :exactly:

This is true! :lecture

Personally I think the smile captures Indy so perfectly and Harrison so perfectly a neutral faced Indy is just boring... It may be part of why I prefer the other Henry head play head too the films have so much personality it's really key to capturing the character

A cocky smirk would have been fine if they had pulled it off. Instead it looked like Indy had just gone through several hours of extensive dental work. I guess my expectations are different than others. I would have prefered a serious sculpt, or any sculpt, that looked as much like Ford as possible. The 1/6th scale Crystal Skull Indy was ruined by trying to give it an expression.
