Try toupe tape. It's very strong, thin, clear two-sided tape. You can buy it from any beauty supply store. I use it to futz a LOT!

Thanks for the tape advice guys! I considered fabric glue but obviously I didn't want to do anything that permanent. But the tape sounds perfect!

I need to take some better shots too. The Sankara stones are from the 3 3/4" Indy line. I had three and painted them all up, two are in his bag. They turned out really well, for me at least.

The TOD Indy is looking awesome, Rich! HT Indy really shines as either a streets of Cairo or TOD version imo

That's what I used for mine. I picked up some "Top Stick" from Sally Beauty Supply. Works great.

Best kitted out Indy custom (IMO) is :
HT clothing (shirt, pants, boots).. although just a little bit of tweaking is necessary on these shirt by using a very diluted dye bath of Rot pearl grey.. as for the jacket.. the Sovereign jacket is a very nice addition.. just hard to get in hand.. with minimal work the HT jacket is really nice too though... if you add one of my leather straps to the HT bag they look much better.. or a reworked Did brand sidebag.... the web belt by Did with a repaint on the webbing to make it the correct brown.. (easy fix).. and although it seems biased for me to say it, adding one of my gun belt kits and whips does make a substantial improvement on the overall appearance... I still make them but you can also find them from time to time from members that sell them off as well...

My biggest gripe with the fig is the jacket is tight on the muscle arms. I know the fig looks great w/o jacket as "Streets of Cairo" or TOD.
Has any of you Dr. Frankensteins tried slicing the skin from the back and removing it like a vest and reinstallining it on (say) a narrow shoulder TT ?
asking this about the Indy fig or the blister-packed muscle body
what would be under the muscle body skeleton ?

Underneath the muscle body is a caved in chest with a couple of spacers/bracers to hold up the chest muscle cavity.and it's attached to a small thin version of their neck post.The rest of the muscle is hard plastic so it can't be removed(arms,lower torso).

Here are a couple shots of my custom Tanis Indy. It's the hatless head from my Sideshow ROTLA Indy, Truetype Caucasian TTM-16, misc hands from some of my other HT figs and random HT DX Indy outfit parts that I got off ebay. I knew that I didn't need the base or backdrop but I got it cheap with a couple of the other parted out items. I wanted to put him together cuz I have the Sideshow Tanis maproom on order and the original Sideshow ROTLA Indy but I didn't get the HT DX Indy. Sorry for the crummy pic but all I have is my camera-phone.

Yeah the turbin needs to hang more loosely like the weight of gravity is pulling it down around his neck. That looks like a granny scarf.

Here's my brother's Map Room Indy.

The hat-less smirking head is from Paul Carson, painted by Ben Knight (Indiana). The head wrap is Hot Toys. The robe was custom made. Sideshow bag, Relic Hunter pants and Medicom boots. And the staff of Ra is obviously Hot Toys.

heres a pic of mine with a sovereign jacket and shirt on an extended bruce lee body. reminds me of his 1st jungle scenes in raiders.

What's the extended Lee body? Just added the leg extenders to HT Bruce Lee? I have a Bruce Lee but he's really short. Do the extenders really get him up where he needs to be?

thanks wor-gar i actually heated up the ankles and shoved wall ankers in there. the open hole of the anker is where i pushed the ankle peg into it. hell of a lot easier than cutting

im sorry wor-gar i meant wall anchor. not anker. when you dont drill into a stud you use the wall annchor with the screw.
