I think it is time to take this to PMs gentlemen... no need to further hashing this out on the open board :peace

Anyway, back to Dr Jones and.......

Would the ACI Christian be a good choice for an alternative Indy body!?

https://www.onesixthwarriors.com/fo...-medium-built-bodies-new-official-pics-3.html

It looks pretty good to me, the build looks better than a TTM-19.

It has possibilities anyway......

I think that would be a very good option... only downside is loosing articulation at the legs, but the build seems more appropriate to Indy. I still wouldn't use it for a Raiders, but I think it could be awesome for a TOD.

Good price on what I still think is a good figure. Add some of mfisher's leather gear and one of my grail diaries, now you have a great figure. Part of the fun is the customization. That is what makes it unique and gives it life.

Don't know why I never thought to post this here.

Has anyone ever tried to water treat their Sovereign Jacket? The sleeves on mine didn't come as wrinkled as I've seen and just bunching them up doesn't last.

If the material is anything like mine was a few years back, I don't think it would absorb any water. :( You can always give it a try though!

I think the problem is Sovereign's jackets were not made from leather but some kind of fake leather (pleather). You may have to experiment with different things to find something that works. You may even try heat, but I would test it on something else in case you get some undesired results. If you find a solution be sure to share it with us here.

Thanks for the input guys. :duff I'll have to give it a try at some point. It isn't Indy's jacket without the wrinkled sleeves.

Anyone have the link to the arm swap mod? Can't find it.

Don't have the link, but i can tell you it's really easy.

Take a ttm18 body and a ttm19.

1. Unscrew the arms of the ttm18. Simply press the arms to the front and unscrew.
2. Ttm19; use small cutting tool (a razor should work) and the rubber of the body on both sides vertically. One side already has been pasted together so you'll know how to cut it.
3. Pull the rubber up till you see the same screws as with the ttm18
4. Unscrew, get m outta there
5. Put in the ttm18 arms and screw them in.
6. Take superglue/instantglue (i used bisonkit i believe) and treat the edges you've cut. Push them together. Do the same with the other side.
7. Enjoy your slim armed ttm19

10min job.

Now people say you can throw the rest away. I didn't...i forced the arms of ttm19 on the ttm18 and screwed them in. Not a perfect 100% in, but good enough to have workable body. I used it for another t2 arnie. Put the jacket on and you almost can't tell the diffence. Used cottonballs to fill up the chest. Posed him and ready!

Best,

Robert

Thanks for that. :duff

What's under the TTM19 rubber? A standard body chest, or is it something else? What's to prevent just taking off the rubber and putting it on another body? Would it make any difference? I'm guessing the neck would be a roadblock.

Another question. Anyone know off hand if Kato's Indy shirt would fit over the chest area of a TTM 19? This is excluding arms of course.

The TTM19 is the base HT Indy muscle body, right? Yes, Kato's shirt will fit even with the default arms on that body.

I did the arm swap a few weeks ago and the additional range of movement with the full Kato gear is awesome!

Alright, this picture does nothing for Ski's awesome repaint but I think I've got the jacket where I wanted it to be. Prior to this the sleeves looked like they'd been pressed off. I ended up getting the sleeves damp and then rolled them up over his biceps and set his elbows at 90 degree angles over night.

I'm happy(ier) with him for now, but I don't think I'll every cactually be done with Indy. Right now he's making do with some HT parts and a handful of pollished Sideshow turds.
