I really love this sculpt! Finally I can see an Indy bash on the horizon :yess:

Same here unfortunately. I have one and I've been thinking about selling it. :lol Although I think the miling one looks miles better than the Traditional when painted.

This is what Im waiting for.

I will buy that traditional head from you if you want? :)

Yep, still the king in my book. This is the pic I keep on my computer.

There's someone on the boards here that I recall called this "bell's palsy Indy" due to his lip expression (the sculpt does look slightly odd from a certain angle - he can look like he's drooling,) but overall this is a clear winner in the Indy category in terms of likeness and paint. I absolutely love it in every department; and is something to shoot for.

Someone was asking - I believe this shrunken PF sculpt is still available from kaiburr - PM him. Hadn't heard how really rough it was, but I guess it had to be shrunken from 1/4 scale, so you wouldn't expect perfection.

Thanks, squeakwels, I'm honored that you bothered to save one of my pics. :) I really like that shot as well, so I tried to improve on it with this one. I also think the muscle body sculpt actually gives him a longer, more slender neck which benefits the figure overall.

Regarding how rough the shrunken PF sculpts come, here is a pic:

As you can see there are air bubbles and surface divots that need patching, and the sculpt is covered in a bumpy texture that needs sanding.

That was me. Never liked the mouth on this version. Or the eyes for that matter. The eye ***** seem pushed too deep into the sockets. The nose is also a little too straight. And the hat isn't right which I'm assuming is why it's top is cropped off in all these pictures. Great paint job on Marf's and the stubble looks good. This goes along way towards distracting the eye away from the likeness. Raymond's pictures seem to show that a likeness to Ford isn't that close. They are both great looking Indy figures, not necessarly great Harrison Ford as Indys. The WGP is also a nice Indy likeness but is missing a lot of Ford in it.

I'm actually using a different hat than the one that came with the shrunken cast. And silent surfer is known for bringing the best out of a sculpt with his paint, what you see in my pics is what you get. :wave

Marf has the best everything. Best Indy, best Yoda, best ESB Luke. Im green with envy. No, congrads on those awesome pieces. :)

I'm currently combining the SSC and Medi Yoda heads into one sculpt, so I WILL better Marf's Yoda... (um, it's not going well so far though...:lol)

How the hell are you doing that?

Cast ears and chin/lower jaw of Medi, redid both a bit (too big) and combined them with cast of SSC sculpt with hair removed on the back. It has a slightly open mouth to make it like he's talking (sitting scene with Luke.) head's also done so that he's looking up more (SSC Yoda can't look up.) It's designed to slide onto my existing SSC Yoda body.

Not sure if I'll ever be able to truly repay you for that, knowing how long it took you! You're right up there with Trevor and Nathan in making the dream that was my ideal 1/6 Indy sculpt come true. :1-1:

Dude no problem at all! You know I've always got your back, your collection is amazing, full of the best grails, I'm honoured to be a part of helping to make any peice that has a place in it. I'm far too gluttonous, I wish I had the self restraint to keep a beautiful edited collection of the most amazing pieces like you do, instead I may be edging out close to 90 1/6 figures. Gotta edit!!

Agreed on both! He has the perfect version of whatever character he has in his collection.

Anyway, I cut out the lining of the HT jacket. Can't really tell the difference but in hand you can. The HT jacket was thick plus with the muscle body it was worse. It was really hard to futz. It's easier now. Im going to weather it up a little later on. I also ironed that horrid collar on the shirt and used fabric glue on the jacket collar.

I took a few more portrait shots of my Indy recently, with the new muscle body neck:

Gotta say it, Marf, that is one FINE looking Indy! I'll see how I go with the WGP, but, failing that I do still have the SSC that I can use.

That said, I'd never say never to the head you've used there...

Sorry I jumped a couple of pages, my email linked to the page with your pics.

Thank you. :) Just the stock muscle body. It's funny you say something, I was going to ask if anyone knows if there is a tutorial on the muscle arm to narrow shoulder arm switch out. I think I may take a crack at it tonight.
