I saw a youtube video about withering but didnt see the bottle or who makes it but i heard to check with you guys about something called fullers earth(i think but dont know proper spelling)

if anyone knows more info please pm me. I want to use it for other projects

Fuller's Earth is used in stage and film production to make clothes appear dirty or dusty. It works well for figures as well but a cheaper alternative is to use chalk pastel powder on a brush

So glad you showed off your Indy again too shorty! Inwas wondering if youd join the party...It's pure brilliance! Paint job, clothes, everything massively amazing. I'm really happy that I could help you out with that too, proud to have an influence oh adding a peice to another one of the most stellar collections on the board from another great guy.

Wow! That means a lot coming from you Ray! Thanks so much! :hi5:
So grateful you reworked mine! World of difference!

Although not as good, here's mine:

That looks real nice. I'm struck by how well the clothes hang. What body are you using?

My one real hang-up with the Kato clothes is that Indy needs to be dirty and sweaty, but if I'm paying hundreds of dollars on clothes. . . they ain't gettin' dirty. :lol

I'll put these back into the mix:

First I apologize for the lighting in these pics but here is my three choices to display on my Indy figure, including the reworked and repainted SS head. First is the reworked SS, the stock HT and the WGP with the chin shaved. Which one should I go with, opinions?

I see loads more Ford in WGP's

That's a great sculpt!!!! :rock

Love your paint style on WGP's also!!!

I like the wgp best. It's more the serious ford of rotla in stread of the surprised ss version.

Best,

Robert

I think each sculpt has its own uniqueness. I like the Sideshow one and think it's the closest, but the hat is much too big.

I'm kinda leaning with the SS one as well. All I did was raise the crown on the fedora to the taller raiders hat, the brim is stock. I think it captures the younger 1981 Ford best. I like the WGP sculpt but it reminds me more of Last Crusade than Raiders and you can see how small it is even next to the HT head

I'm surprised how small the WGP is, I was expecting something inbetween the HT and the SSC in terms of size. The smaller size of the head makes the hat look small even though it might be the right size for the head.

I hate myself for it, but, I'm beginning to doubt that the WGP head was the saviour we might have thought it to be... gulp! Out of your three, I might still go with the SSC.

LOL,

We posted at the same time! I too am sadly leaning towards the SSC for my project. Shame I realised this after I paid for my WGP head, ah well, never know, I might still like it when I get it...
