I have one and while it's a nice version to have I don't think the PF translates as well when shrunk. I used to have it on a figure in my display and had two separate people refer to it as "caveman Indy".

Found this in here. Really good paint up. Where is everyone getting the shrunken PF sculpt??

Is it an arm and a leg?

The thing that looks to have happened to this one in particular is that the head looks squashed vertically. I'm sure others I've seen have had longer faces.

The one alternative Indy that I did really like was Paul Carson's.

I don't know looks pretty damn good to me. I'd love to own it.

Anyway, I've been perusing through the thread and I came across some cool ones. Most of you have probably seen them already b ut I think some are worth a repost.

See, again, looks so different than all others to me. Nice Indy.

The sculpt is terribly undersized but I think the likeness for a KOTC Indy is damn good.

Rory has gotten more out of that sculpt than anyone.

There was a few more that I thought I saved but didn't.

I agree. Rory and a few others here really managed to salvage the HT sculpt.

And I like that first Sideshow Indy pic you posted. It's a great alternative to going full-on Les Walker on it. Avoiding the stubble actually helps bring out the sculpt.

Yeah, I dig that first one. Couple other mentionables on the DX05 are cr0w,Calvcade and Anese's. They really pulled out what they could. Such a strange sculpt the DX05.

It wasn't expensive when I picked it up, it just requires quite a bit of work to refine, which may dissuade people.

Contact the board member 'kaiburr' from these boards. I think he said they were still available.

Yup! :lecture

I may be wrong, but, doesn't the one in the pic have the SSC KOTCS hat?

The one in that pic has the shrunken PF (stock) hat. I took another portrait of mine with a full view of the KOTCS hat I'm using.

It does look somewhat squashed in that pic for some reason...

I also love Paul Carson's sculpt, so much personality. Straight from the classic Raiders poster.

The first one in Fiend's post is nice, save for the fact that Indy doesn't have a suede jacket. There was some leather treatment available that fixed that, but I can't remember what it was.

Your shrunken PF with the KOTCS hat looks really nice, if Kaiburr could put that hat on his head.....

Josh's Indy was the inspiration for my own 1/6 Indy journey! :rock

Those look like the SSC Raiders Indy pants, probably after a careful water treatment.

Oh cool. It's amazing what futzing and water treatment can do.

I'm stoked to be wrapping up my Indy soon. :)

I think I may end up having a detolf shelf for Harrison Ford bashes only. :lol

If there was ever a shelf-worthy actor! :lol I can't stop collecting until I have a proper ANH or ESB Han. :monkey2

I'm trying to work that one out now...

Looking good! :rock I've noticed you have your eye on the WGP Han (which looks great). That will no doubt be a great figure. The only reason I haven't done something similar is the hope that Han will be Hot Toy's next SW figure...Best case scenario, they wow us with a brilliant sculpt and figure overall, worst case scenario, we get the best Han figure (minus the sculpt) on the market and pop WGP's head on there. :lol

Thought about that at great length myself. Even IF Han is HT's next effort, think about the typical timeframe between announcement and release... Advice I should have listened to with Marty.

Anyway... Back to Indy! :whip

You're right...well, your figure may be the straw that breaks this camel's back. :lol
