Great news. Opens the doors for a lot more people to be exposed to MJ's work I think.

And you don't want us. Exposing ourselves....

Just wanted to let everyone know that, it took some convincing, but the MJ Indy will be offered unpainted for approximately $100 + fees/shipping.

The thread will be open late next week or early the following. :duff

Cool. Thanks for keeping us informed!

Great! Will you be linking it here?

I'm not even going to lie..

I'm totally content with my HT Indy with Mike's accessories and guyliner removed.

However, I may just pick one of these up unpainted and take a crack at it!

Would be my first custom 1/6th head!

Mmm, just looked at the promo thread and I'm not blown away. For me, Trev's is still the one to beat, I'll get an HT hat and call time.

Hat is too small and the nose is just a tad bit pointy.

If someone were to shave down the nose, replace the hat and get it painted, then it would win!

LOL, that's nearly the entire thing that needs revising, I do agree though. For $250 you want something pretty phenomenal. I've seen MJ's other stuff and this just doesn't compare. Surely Trev can't be the only one that can nail Harrison Ford!?

The nose still looks a tad off, but I admit, it looks better than the painted head. Any chance of getting the painted head photographed at these angles?

The sculpt looks phenomenal. It's so puzzling how the paintjob can affect the sculpt to such a degree. It's not like it's a bad paintjob--far from it. I'd love to see someone take another stab at painting it to see if anyone can make that sculpt shine like it does.

Yeah, that made a LOT of difference. If I'd seen these pics first I would certainly not have been so critical. You've probably gained a few customers, though sadly not me as it's too pricey for me even as an unpainted version.

I'm still not loving the hat. It's a little too small, the crown looks too tapered (as if from Temple of Doom) but has the tight front pinch like Raiders. I'm not digging the bow either. But I don't know how much my input matters because I can't afford it in the first place. :(

That looks great. Yes the paint work itself it awesome it changes the look of the sculpt.
