It looks great although I think the head should sit a little bit higher on the neck. I usually stuff some blue tak up there which seems to do the trick. Indy has his whip and gun but blu tak and double sided tape are my weapons of choice!

That altar and floor is awesome. You mentioned you painted the other head. Have you tried painting the eyes on the Treasure Hunter? I found that really makes the sculpt better. I have always felt they are too dark brown.

I think I’m done with the hat for the most part. I just need to finish making the bow.
I forgot to ask what y’all think?

I love it Rogster. I am looking forward to seeing it all finished.

Check it out guys I have finally put together a custom Short Round. Mr. E was good enough to recommend a body for him but I thought it was just a bit too expensive for me. Anyways I searched around and found a 1/6 Kumik young girl body which I got for about £15. I still think he is a bit too tall but I can always reduce the size later. I got the unpainted head from a seller on ebay. I painted it all and made the shoes and pegs. I will need to find better clothing for him but in the meantime I used a spare white vest from my custom John McClane, the Hasbro Indy trousers cut down and the shirt is from a Yoda toy I had.

I am thinking about using some balsa wood and tying them onto the shoes like when he is driving the car.

Cool Short Round custom. :clap

How do you guys think this burned satchel look could be achieved? I was honestly just thinking of heating something up and burning through that top layer. And then putting the exclusive stone inside. I could then also try to find a small pulsing LED and put that in the bag if it fits too. But mainly I’m concerned with how to achieve that burned bag.

Realized that my underused soldering iron would do the job. Here’s what I ended up with. The light is super red cause it’s the Vader light-up saber arm providing the light.

Thanks, Wor. Yeah, that crossed my mind. I wonder if a Mola head would garner enough interest.

Then do you go with or without the headpiece? Both? Putting that on a custom paint job might be risky given how it wraps around his face. Might require 2 sculpts like the SS premium format.

The clothes seem pretty straight forward but there’s some pretty unique accessories. Would be amazing to see a high-quality Mola in 1/6.

@TonTon

That looks brilliant. Really well done.

@hottoysaddict72

Love it. That really looks awesome athough I thought the stones only lit up when they were together? Ha ha just kidding!
The stand is great as well.
I did something similar with my custom The Thing figure I made. I have lights coming out of the hooded face like in the classic poster although my lights are connected to a small battery operated controller which has different settings in it rather than one you can plug in.

Meanwhile I decided to try and add a bit of pink into the trousers I have been painting again to try and make them more screen accurate and I think I have got it. This is my Last Crusade Indy with the newly painted trousers.

Also here is a picture of my Short Round with upgraded blue trousers with the string around them. I think he is too tall next to Indy but I'm not sure if I will bother shrinking him down a bit.

@Ton Ton, thank you :)

To answer your question, the cable goes up the side of the cabinet, across the bottom (covered by leaves) , up the back of the stand, and hidden behind the satchel and attached to the bottom of the stone with a little bit of tape.

It can be turned on by a switch at the wall

Here is a pic with three of my custom Indy's with the newly painted pants on each of them. I tried a few different combinations as the Nepal Indy shows. I have the actual trousers from Wested and WhatPriceGlory and they are both slightly different in colour. There are times when I look at the pants on my customs and think yeah those are spot on. Other times I think they are too dark or too light! It is probably just my OCD. :(
