so I would've skipped it anyway.

There ya go...

This doesn't apply to you, but there is a difference between wanting to see something made AND willing to pay for it.

A breaching Bruce with a water splash base would probably be NECA's best bet.

I would have loved that. Sadly, the oft-overly sculpted "splashes" never look too real.

Personally I would only have even considered - and not even definitely purchased - a proper scale Bruce. An underscaled one I see no point in owning. It's iffy enough just buying Quint and Hooper while knowing that Brody is probably never coming but I will at least do that. Have one of each preordered at BBTS and might preorder one of each from the UK aswell.

I would have joined the conversation earlier if this was a proper shark, but I have no interest in this game version.

If the game at least looked like fun, I might have considered to get it to play with my daughter. But it doesn't look particularly fun either.

But I agree that a 30 inch shark would probably cost a few hundred bucks nowadays, which will limit their market severely. I satisfied my itch with the SCO bust, so I would've skipped it anyway.

A breaching Bruce with a water splash base would probably be NECA's best bet. A mix between the old McFarlane version and the SCO bust. That should be feasible at around $100.

And minus a base, it’s what they did for the Toony Terror set.

Yeah I think I was never in the market for such a big shark. If I were to allocate that much display space to one piece, I would rather have the HT Dewback.

I’m eager to get this in hand and check it out, I’m feeling like it’s the placement of the upper gum and teeth making the lower jaw seem exaggerated.

Whatever the case, I’m going to customize it into the best version of it that I can.

Hmm... this guy got his already and no word from NECA on mine. Is it because I also ordered the figures at the same time and those aren't ready to ship yet? I don't recall a "ship when ready" option at checkout. It was available as a "bundle."

Not champing at the bit to get this, but hate being penalized for ordering all 3 things at once.

If you ordered a trio bundle, then yes, you’ll have to wait for all 3 parts to be in and ready to ship.

It’s not a punishment.

I also saw someone on Facebook found the shark in Walmart. Haven’t seen anyone report having the people in hand yet.

Gauging how few people are here talking about it, gives you an idea of how unprofitable this shark probably is. Plus the shipping cost for a 30 inch shark.
That YT dude (with only 1600 subscribers) who did the quick review has nearly 900 views in 24 hours - not exactly scientific but that's a decent amount of interest. :dunno

So the game does not even work? The original (which was fun) was based on how much weight was in the lower jaw, as you removed thing, the jaw (which wa don rubber bands) would eventually snap shut on your hook....

So the "game" aspect of the "game" reproduction shark does not GAME?

i just noticed how wrong the proportions are, as well as the insane underbite. if they can release an alien queen, they can release a proper shark. just make it real feel like kenner's jp figures in the 90s
