Just opened mine up and I am more pleased with it than I was with just the pics. I think most will just leave it as is and be happy with it. It's the rest of us nuts. The gloved hands aren't bad in person, but I may still replace them. Aside from the body (and I don't really hate it as much as I thought I would) the shoulder pads are glaringly small. I'm really happy that there is a lot to work with on the figure. Good purchase.
Just noticed he's missing the earring.

I ordered this body as it was cheap and local to me as a possible replacement. I really wanted a one piece upper arm design as I don't wante any sleeves on Wez and many bodies have that shoulder rotation joint. It also has a decently realised set of buttocks in the back as a nice bonus too. I'm assuming it'll need some modification to work, I'm always unlucky somewhere in any body swapping I do (usually needing to reconstruct the head/neck joint in some capacity). It's still a little more muscular than I would've liked, looking at possibly swapping the upper body with a slimmer other spare I have; if that's possible.

I think I'll be painting all the exposed skin to get some consistency and then adding some grime and dust to match the armour pieces.

Can one of you fine fellow take a natural light picture of the head/neck are for skin tone?

Looking for a body skin match.

Looks a lot better there.
You could also instantly improve the look of the figure by just padding the abdomen and doing a slight bit of weathering or a wash with a tan color on the body to make it look a bit less plastic.
Yeah a cotton ball would probably do the trick. Im waiting for someone to do a body swap, I have a few bodies in my parts bin but came across incompatible neck connectors, foot pegs etc. The foot peg in particular is a lot bigger then regular foot peg connectors.

Ok, since you are the test pilot, how about pics of the pegs, naked neck joint?

Nice videos also man!

His head skin sometimes look really red. more red than the rest of body.
Is it just photo color correction? Or is it really more red/pink-ish?

Wez is due to arrive tomorrow. If the body is like Max's then I'm definitely going to swap it out .

I think you mentioned in your video he was 31cm tall in total, so the shorter Vernon height body might help with closing the gap between corset and armour, even after leaving off the shirt.

Shall we start looking at which body migh be a good replacement?

Personally , I think the biggest issue is not the height. I have never been a stickler on that, like many are, unless is glaring like Furiosa was.

I think the issue is having a stout form, and not such a triangle shaped torso.

I think I am gonna go for this one…anyone see a problem with it?

This is concerning me as well. Whatever that red is, makes the figure look awful.

What I'm hoping with this body...

...is that the corset will bridge the distance between waist and ribs and thicken up the torso...

The torso and the chest armour can defiantly be futzed with to look better

Ankle connectors

zpY53qu.jpg

As you can see the ball joint on the figure is bigger then regular ankle connectors
vHVQzXX.jpg

Body on the right is a Worldbox body, as you can see the pegs are a little bigger but still not as big as the ones on the Wez figure

The neck connector on the other hand is smaller then most neck connectors.

Peg on the right is the one from this figure

In short: It really looks like it might be a bit of a pain in the *** to do a body swap, The boots will struggle to stay on with regular ankle connectors and the neck/head connectors looks smaller then most neck connectors.

No doubt you could do it but it might take a bit of trial and error to get it right.

I wish there was some sort of standardisation in 1/6 :angryfist:
