I got Bossked today. Didn't take him out, but removed the plastic cover to take a good, long look - very impressive. EX version is 'the one' version to own, IMO

Not liking the flat, matte look of the box now - bring glossy back!

I received Bossk today. I am thoroughly impressed. I pulled down his pants to the accurate position, and pulled his sleeves down as much as they would allow, and he's pretty much screen accurate. My favorite detail are the translucent claws. They seem to be separate pieces enclosed in the surrounding plastic that is his flesh - very nice detail!

Because in Empire he's holding his gun in the left hand.
Everyone seems to want to make him screen accurate.
They just reversed the gripping claw so he's able to hold the gun with the left hand.
I have no problem placing the gun in his right hand at all.
To each their own I guess.

I really like this character. and this Bossk likes fast food.

This figure is awesome! Lovin' this guy. It's gonna take a few days to fully soak it all in but my initial thoughts are: SIK!!

It doesn't really bother me but I am wondering why SS decided to take this much artistic license when designing the sculpt. It definitely looks cooler then the design of the screen used mask but I just wonder what made them stray from screen accuracy. It feels like maybe they're modernizing him because the Bossk that we all know looks quite dated

I think he looks great (although would've liked a bit more orange in the eyes) and I love the EX sculpt but I'm really just curious why they decided to embellish on the images that we grow up with.

There is a really weird thing where the heads of most star wars figures have weird differences/errors, that would be just as easy fix as to do wrong in the first place (as in, the skill of the sculpt is there, just observation can lack). Boba helmet, stormtrooper helmet, vader helmet, bossk's head, ig-88's head (but probably due to the light feature design), snowtrooper eyes (although they're re-doing it), greedo's head (but he was made better looking), gamorrean facial paint apps, I'm certain there's others I can't think of atm

Maybe it's because sculpting is hard

If Bossk looked just like on screen, rubbery looking head and all, I'd get him right away. Atm I have to think, and maybe get a snowie instead!
