Chavez- Well, nobody hates to admit it more than me, but I'm sure there will be some pieces that are generally a let down to most, and others that folks are emphatically positive about. No artist/painter/sculptor or otherwise can escape it! But I try my damnedest I assure everyone.



Oh Sideshow would thrive without me, but I can tell you now, wild horses couldn't drive me away! I love working with these guys. I'm still very much a greenhorn in this 'business', but they treat me with utmost respect. A mutual loyalty in this kind of work is pretty rare, but when you get to work with people that are worth being loyal to...it's something you don't want to give up!

I'm not supporting a family though, so I get to be very selfish in my decisions.

Dave, in the novel Dark Lord Rising, the final page has Obi Wan on Tattoine seeing a holo newscast featuring Darth Vader.

If it isn't in the films, its open to speculation.

Using past novels as a guide, there are more holes in the EU than there are in the saga...and besides, Force repelling tree lizards? No thanks, I don't think I'll ever read another SW EU novel.

I agree with you completely. I have found however, that the EU that is built around the PT is much better since it has a lot of SW structure to support it rather than just the over the top goofiness of the average sci fi.

I've read many EU books with a naive hope they might improve only to be greatly disappointed, but Cloak of Deception, The Approaching Storm, The Cestus Deception, Labyrinth of Evil, and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth
Vader were much better than average.
The Force repelling lizards, and Force hunting 'wolf cat' thingies, Yuuzhon Vong anti force aliens, is all silly to me.

I'm so worried.... My Old Ben was supposed to arrive Friday, and so when I checked last night to see what happened... I found a discretion..

Looks as though the shipment was sent to my OLD address for some odd reason. I updated all my addresses a looong time ago and it looks like it didn't take on my Old Ben order. Worst part is that it was delivered, and now who knows where Ben is.... Probably in some 3 year olds mouth.

I just don't understand what happened. It was updated, all of my other orders are going to my correct address. I guess my Ben order, having been input seperately during the server crash.... had something to do with it. I'm just hoping SSC will do something to fix it....

I really don't want to have to buy another Ben figure and just waste the prior money... I just wish I would have noticed before it shipped. I never thought to check. That addy was supposed to be gone.

Same thing happened when Leia shipped to me.I was like WTH???

That address was scrapped awhile back and had several shipments since.

I wish you luck.This figure since ordering day has been a bugger for most, but worth it all the same.

I really liked LoE, Cloak of Deception, and am really liking the Vader Novel. The Shadow Hunterarth Maul novel is also very very good. These all tie in really really well with the movie novels. The rest of the EU I like in bits but I kind of pick and choose what I think makes sense which is why I tend to like the EU.

I am looking forward to reading the Darth Bane novels as well just to get a better grip on the Sith.

The change was immediate and I got my power loader without any problem. I checked the address Sideshow had for me in my shipping notice for "Old Ben" Kenobi, and it was correct. Now, I just hope to be home when the U.P.S. driver shows up sometime this coming Thursday to deliver Obi-Wan to me! I'm worried about that since I'm in an apartment complex without an office or anywhere else safe that packages can be left for tenants.

Oh yeah. I'd forgotten that FedEx delivered the power loader to me from Sideshow. Now the "Old Ben" is coming via U.P.S. Good idea though about bringing the tracking number. I'll have to find out where my nearest U.P.S. is. I think it's in New Orleans...about 40 miles away! Ugghhhh!

Josh, I wish you the best dude, Sideshow's got the best CS I've ever encountered, if anyone could come through in a situation like this it'd be them.
