I had to share this. I must have seen this head painted a hundred time but this is the best I think, or at the very least in the top 5 for me.

Copy it. Shrink it a bit. Give it a phenomenal paint job and I might have to upgrade but until then this is the best.

I did another one recently and was able to test out my new lightbox... still the best Sideshow Star Wars sculpt we've gotten.

I'm enthralled with the new HTs figures, but I don't think they could improve on this sculpt in my eyes. With a repaint by the likes of GB or 8-bit, it's perfection.

I really don't think it can be improved... only thing is to have it come out with HT quality paints when you buy, but this is as good as it gets for Ben in 1/6... unless of course if Trevor did a new one

I agree, my Old Ben isn't going anywhere.

I think the one thing Hot Toys would greatly improve is the texture. Likeness wise there isn't really anything to improve. Just copy it with more details in the skin and you've got perfection.

I see that the cloak and turtleneck can be greatly improved by HT.

But the rest is really quite nice. Can't wait to see how HT does improve it though. They usually find a way to make even great old figures look worse.
