1/6 Space marines.....

Here are some shots of my updated Blood Angel Veteran . Thanks to Dorgmal for the new headsculpt I'm beginning to feel like I'm getting towards the "look" I'm after (about time , I've been working on him for nearly 12 months !). The way I look at it though , is that he was "finished" months ago and all the upgrades/additions/tweaks are all things that the character has picked up along the way in his missions ! Daft , I know , but I genuinely see this figure as a naturally "evolving" piece and as such , will never really be finished . Anyhoo , some of the paintwork needs touching up here and there and the headsculpt paint is only 50% done ( ignore the dodgy eyes ). On the subject of the headsculpt , my Wife was much amused when my 4 year old daughter pointed out that "Daddy's soldier" now had "Daddy's head" ! ( I wish , I'm not that good looking ! ) I've included a couple of shots of how I handled the "stand/anti-shelf diving" issue for Wanderer .

Top job m8 I really liked the Hulk head you previously used but the Stone Cold version you've now got really sells it a treat Love the gold and red. Gives him a regal bada55 quality...

One question though, I'm struggling with coming up with a belt for him. Obviously having pouches makes no sense as he doesn't have the required digits to feasibly use them! But I want something big and blocky with loads of do dads, wires and buttons. Basically I want to balance out the figure as its quite skinny in the middle so a big a55 belt will work a treat...any ideas?! Cheers mate

If you have loads of bits n bobs laying about see what might work. I looked in the garage and i used a new spare toilet cistern diaphragm from my plumbing supplies.

I could imagine you could use plastic nail clips or something or just ask dorgs

I will cast some Orcs up later. I hope the mold is ok i tapped it to death to get rid of air bubbles, and damn that used a lot of silicone. Dorgs i dunno how you do it m8 this stuff is expensive lol.
