1/6 Space marines.....

Yeah the size was always a problem that's why i went back and resculpted a smaller pointy helm, and dorgs shrunk the original 1 i done as well as shrinking some 1/6 heads.

The illusion of size is pulled off nicely with Mark's voodoo head shrinking technique
If either CBob or Mark redesign the armour to fit say, the new predator bodies, that would be immense...in more ways than one

Just some quick wip's, so many different ways this guy could go. I'm not going for a Space Marine look, but actually some kind of scout for my Ma.K SAFS suits. I have a Melusine and 1 of these guys.

Here's where I'm at so far. Using Halo helmet.

Custom helmet like Scopedog.

Wanna go for this kinda look.

With custom hand weapons.

Still need to make belts, pouches, extras and of course trying to figure out a color scheme.

The power fists are right off of Creech so they are heavy, the only thing I did was add nubs on the joints to match the nubs on the shoulders.

Yeah i rmemeber when elvis1976 sent them to me to pass onto dorgs that they are quite heavy, but they do the job marvelously

While we're talking powerfists , any suggestions on how to attach them ? It seems obvious , just "pop-em on" , or even glue them in place , but I'd prefer them to be able to rotate . Plus I don't have any spare wrist pegs ( I used Hot Toys on the "regular " hands ). I'll no doubt come up with something , but I'm open to suggestions at the moment .

Problem sorted ! Just found a set of H.T pegs I didn't know I had !

The best i can think of for modding them for movement on short notice is put some hot glue or milliputt onto the peg let it set. Then add a load into the fist (allowing for expansion) and on the peg load again then let it set.

(edit) better yet do what i said with the peg and do the same with the fist most of the way let them both dry etc. Then you would only need to add a small amount to connect the peg load to the fist

I've used earth magnets as they fit snuggly in the wrist crevice and inside the fist with a dab of glue. Works a treat, holds securely and rotates as required.

Magnets are great, but this is what I use on practically every body mod I do. Come in so many different sizes! Go HLJ!!!

As for wires i done what dorgs and elvis done pretty much. I drilled a hole in the upper armour for the big hose and in the top of the hand for the other end.

Also for wires, you guys know about bass guitar strings? They look like braided cable and can actually bend into position rather than relying on the springs that just make a loop.
