They didn't even have to give him a gun, so stop complaining. SDCC exclusives generally are just 'glorified repaints' so him coming with old parts is to be expected. Heck, its way better than last year's Joe SDCC Ex.

Well Cherry Flavored Cobra Commander had it's fans....I like this one but not sure I like it enough to order it, there are a lot of SDCC Exs from various companies I want to get a hold of.

I like it, it's SDCC time so I expect and prefer redeco/repaints.

You have to realize the alternative is a 100% new figure/character and that would piss a lot of people off. I mean would you want Destro to be a SDCC Ex? A different colored ninja is just fine, and of course they are going to reuse parts. Heck, most of the Joes have just reused the same parts over and over in different colors is all.

Ninjas with guns are dumb, though. I'll be using the uzi with another figure.

Sorry I dont understand the logic behind the no new figure for the Con concept, its readily available to ANYONE who wants it, why would anyone be pissed? Today is not like it was 5 years ago

One of the two Hasbro releases came with an Uzi, so I am cool with it. Also...as I mentioned before...as a Viper...the figure needs a gun. They are soldiers first (so being called Ninja Viper and not Viper Ninja).

I do think I would have preferred a re-release of the Cobra Trooper's AK for him, though.
