No, but during the Indy TOD poll a lot of people keep saying I'm waiting to see what Hoth Han and Luke will look like to decide on whether to pre-order and they also said they were waiting on this one.

Yeah cause my grasp of it is that, people are expecting SS to turn a new leaf and improve on their paint apps especially after the whole Drake thing. While Snake Plisskin is a improvement I don't think its what people were thinking they were getting, or expecting. I'll wait and see what people say on the other threads SW and Indy. But honestly I don't think it will mater either way, people are just to loyal to SS to ever turn away from them it seems.

I guess but you can see people doubting SS left and right, I just saw some posts of it on the Hoth Han thread. Where do you draw the line?(personally I mean), I mean if people aren't going to abandon SS after the Drake thing I don't think they ever will.

Don't get me wrong though its the same for HT I should have pointed that out from the start. Hot Toys has had QC issues with rubber and other things but people just as equally blindly follow them as well.

Eh has a little to do with it, but at this rate me and you both are going to be chasing our tails forever. Yes some buy it based on the company as well as the character, just like people will buy the new SW figures because HT is making them and have a reputation for being "Great" but as I pointed out above they have their issues too.

Pre-release review from Da Bomb Show

The sculpt looks FANTASTIC, a big improvement over the prototype shots. It looks more like Kurt Russell this time around.

I've got no complaints, especially given the cheap price of the figure. Sideshow just needs to release this already.

Funny how Sideshow can send these out for people to review but can't ship them all out until after the first of the year along with EVERYTHING else. Would have made a nice Christmas present.

Think the actual sculpt is an improvement. Definitely a closer likeness to Russell.

Jacket took a big hit. And the paints are nothing more impressive than what we saw with Joe line.

Aside from the improved body, seems a standard Sideshow release, nothing ground breaking or overly impressive.

Basically, a nice $160 figure that would have been $90-100 five years ago (except the body would have been stock Prometheus).
