Yeah, probably the last "fairly" priced 1/6 figure we will ever see.

Its nice, and in the age of $200+ priced figures seems like a bargain.

I'm happy enough to keep my order. See how I feel with Snake in hand. I often find close ups in videos and pics don't represent the figure in the context of it's scale.

That said, I am disappointed with the weathering. I expected the jacket to not be weathered enough but the rest of his outfit also looks fresh from a Target rack. Not sure I'm up to weathering myself though with zero experience.

I'll probably display him without the jacket and maybe with the cigarette. The new body looks nice and I was pleasantly surprised that the elbow and wrist joints didn't bother me too much. Accessories look fantastic.

Sigh of release....

He looks pretty good. The jacket looks like it just came off the rack and needs weathering. But then again, it's a parts bin accessory to me.

Can't wait to get him.

Yours truly,

Sideshow Apologist

Not hardly :lol

Its on the upside of some of Sideshow recent release. Its by no means a leap in quality, but also not a total **** job like Drake was. At least on par with their Joe release it seems.

Middle of the road release at a good price, win win when dealing in Sideshow these days.

Truer words could not have been said :exactly:

Does it show off the figure? I can't stand that show, especially the obnoxious dude.

Just look at the pic I posted earlier, or mute the video they are ass kissing SS to the max :monkey3 comparing it to current sculpts. When Hot Toys sculpts look better than this figure.

I would argue that the Dredd figure which was also reasonably priced might actually look better.

It's a good looking figure for the price. Base on that review that I just skip around through.

Drake and Faramir. SS will never live those turds down. :lol

It's a very nice well priced bootleg. Only nitpick is the helmet is too small and the gloved hands are lame. I don't care for the body. The boots are some of the best in 1/6 though.

It is beyond crazy that SS goes to match HT prices when the quality is this far apart!

That Stark didn't cost $150. :lol

But yea. This is nothing new from SS. I don't see why people are shocked. Unless you are newbs.

I know the prices between these two are not matched, but just wait and see when they pull this off with Red Five (or Hoth duo which are already in the 200$ range).

Yup. Hoth and and Prison Jumpsuit Luke are going to be the tale tale of what SS intends to put out paint wise.

If their 400 plus PF's don't have knockout paint, their dolls won't either.

I remember the world war two PF that was supposed to usher in the "new standard" of Sideshow and ultimately ended up looking like the rest of their stuff. Same with their Obi legendary thing.

Sideshow has a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG track record of promising and not delivering.

The sculpt looks FANTASTIC, a big improvement over the prototype shots. It looks more like Kurt Russell this time around.

I've got no complaints, especially given the cheap price of the figure. Sideshow just needs to release this already.

Definitely has Russell in there. I just think a better paint app would really launch the headsculpt.

I cancelled mine last month

It looks like what it is, a $150 SS figure

I'll try get it later on if it gets discounted over here
