1/6 SSC Snake Plissken Figure

Well that's that after months of speculation as to if this is still gonna look like a ****** sideshow figure. Yup. It does. Can't say I'm surprised but still don't know why I'm asked to pay 150 dollars for this.

It might get worst with future releases not so much paint, but loss of details in the sculpt from prototype to final product. The argument on here that I'm seeing a lot of is, that it doesn't look as bad as some had thought it would look like. So I'm guessing they were expecting Nathan Drake but with long hair. Also since this is the only Snake 1/6 we are getting a lot of people are giving it a pass on the paint apps. I'll wait for DA's pictures and others before I even consider this.

Some people are using the paint as an excuse because I think some people deep down thought we were getting hot toys quality knowing this was an SSC, but was I expecting worst and it turned all right som im reserving till better pics come out.

Someone posted earlier that this is the only Snake figure we'll see, unless HT actually does take a stab at it...Personally I hope they do...I bought 2 of this one, and Im happy with how it turned out...Also happy that it's starting to get a more positive response from people...But I'd still like to see HT take on it, just to see what differences there would be in the two versions...As well as just how close HT could come to a really accurate Plissken headsculpt...

I know that this is the eleventh hour but anybody thinking of cancelling? After being optimistic this past year I have a little worry that the only reason not seeing any pics is because its bad.

Call it blind optimism, but I've got a feeling this one might turn out well. Sideshow were heavily criticised for Drake and they're bound to have taken that on board.

Sadly no. Not to go out off topic but Im starting to hate marvel because of hot toys specially iron man. 3 iron man figures in less than a week and one of those for almost $400.

I'm starting to feel the same way,which is why I'm waiting for SS to make their Iron Man figure based on the comics, which I feel will be the definitive Iron Man to get since the comic book costumes are much more iconic than the movie ones.

While I do enjoy comic flicks, I just don't feel they capture the "magic" and "energy" of the comics. And yes, I'm also awaiting for the new DC movies to come out to even things out a little.

eh cause it might be ok for a huge discounted price and I mean huge to even consider it, but I got a feeling it wont be the only Snake we will see ever. I don't think Hot Toys will do it but maybe Storm Collectables or someone else. What do you care anyways?

Looks about on par with Joes from 2-3 years ago. No real surprise to me, but I can see how some might be disappointed.

The likeness seems intact, but it is begging for a better paint job. Looks like a plastic doll head with an airbrushed beard and monochrome hair.

Why do you care that I asked?

Because you should be hard selling me on Sideshow products the way you defend them so much its hard to tell but sometimes you seem like a real instigator to be honest, so yeah. It might not sound that way when you talk in real life and you might be using a little cutesy voice but since there is only text here I can't honestly tell.

You do repaints right Silent? If you pick this up are you considering doing the same? Compared to original proto pics he is only missing minor touch ups it seems like. I wouldn't mind seeing what you could do with it. Also a lot of people are ok with the lack of detail because there is no other figures of Snake or customs available at this low a price point I'm guessing. I'm disappointed but am the only vocal one on here it kinda seems like. DeathAsylum takes great pics so if anyone could change my mind on this figure it might be him or a good repaint from you might tempt me.
