Why is his costume chest piece down? I do not like that at all. He'd look way better if it was still fully attached and not like he's off duty.

Did a little comparison. What do you think?

A lot of angles but the one that matches that reference pic the most is SooSoo’s. SST heads are great but the V heads were beautiful. Still, have SST pre ordered & still can’t wait till it’s ready.
That's the best I could do :D

I swear this company doesn't make things for collectors, they make them for fans of the media outside of the hobby who don't know how much these things should cost.

I really don't know what they're thinking with these prices. I just bought an Endgame Thanos from TW for 270€ (I also used some reward points and coupons and such and brought him down to ~180 but you get the point; that was the starting price). Patrick Bateman and the Godfather are around 270$. In what world does Homelander, especially one made by Star Ace of all companies, deserve the ******* 300$ price point? Oh, not to forget, 90$ for that extremelly valuable and great plastic base... I like Homelander, he's an enjoyable psycho and I'd have liked a figure of him from Asmus or something, priced at maybe 250$ with a couple of extras. He's not exactly a classic character, he's a fun Flavour Of The Month. Still, he made enough of an impact for me to have him on my list. But this thing? Jesus. Look at the midsection. I get it that the actor's wearing prosthetics for bigger muscles, but the figure represents the character, who is supposed to be a "Superman". Why the Hell do his abs look like someone stuck a pack of beef from the freezer under his suit?

The hands look like something you'd find on a Hasbro. No, scratch that, a Chinese knock-off toy at a bazaar. No wash at all. The Hell's up with this head?

Who's he, Retardlander? Homelander's mentally challenged clone? I'm being a bit too hard, but even a pic with no professional lighting from the actual show looks better:

Major pass. I'd probably have passed on it either way, considering we've got Spider-Geddon coming (Tobey, Ock & Goblin for me), Kenobi, all my existing POs, then MoM and so on, but it's the asanine prices that irks me. For 270$ you're getting all this (plus a 1:1 Card) for the Bateman figure:

I thought that was a bit steep from a new company, but still POed because I liked what I saw (all they need to do is thin the pain on the heads). However, Star Ace sure knows how to "exceed all expectations"...

Which is fine. There's more of them than there are of us.

It really looks like it's a Phicen M34 which is about $80 depending on where you buy from. Seems like they're passing those costs on to the collectors rather than working out a deal with Phicen. Lazy on their part and costly for buyers to not just do some RnD to create their own muscle body.

Expected bad but they really one-upped themselves. The detail is 1/12 scale level.

$300.........................
