James Rohrbaugh

I opened the shirt one more button on mine and noticed the head seemed overly shoved down on the body somehow. So I popped the head off and put it back on and I felt better about it overall

Indeed it looks much better, also I glad one can see the distinctive color shade difference of the Sheriff shirt and pants that can be seen in the 1/1 series character. Your photo careful lighting, pose and angle also helps appreciate the figure much better, it does have problems, but think it might be "workable", looking forward to receive mine, and thank you for giving me hope with this one, was about to cancel mine.

Not my photo, but he does look better his picture than AJ's professional photography.

I ordered mine from Sideshow with a lot of rewards, but they must be on a slow boat from China as he's been out a while now.

The product page says "Expected to Ship: Jan 2025 - Feb 2025", but my order page currently says "Dec 2024 - Apr 2025".

Just received mine from Popcultcha. It's much better than I was expecting! I still think that his head is a little large - but it's better in-hand than in some photos.

Anyone had him ship from Sideshow yet?

The email from 21st February:

I completely forgot I ordered this before getting the email, turns out I used all my rewards and a coupon and got it for about $110 shipped.

Same, no shipping notice or anything.

edit: I just got a UPS shipping notice, I'm in CA and might get it tomorrow.

Hopper finally made it home.

In some ways he's a cheap looking figure, as is to be expected with Threezero, such as the paint on the hands (or lack of it), the plastic holster and the quality of the plastic or finish on the revolver.

Removing the hands from the pegs required a lot of heat, and the gripping hand was so stiff I even had to use heat to open it enough to hold the torch.

However, overall he's quite effective and also about the correct height for David Harbour.

Some of that height comes from the head. Placed nose to nose with another sculpt, the chin, lips, nose and eyebrows all lined up perfectly, but the forehead was a lot higher.

That can be masked by putting the hat on, which isn't too bad since they flocked the production version.

The sculpt itself is surprisingly good, and even photographed close up with the flash.

The interchangeable magnetic hair pieces for the sunglasses are fiddly. Pushing the arms of the glasses into the holes was a nerve wracking experience as I had to use force, and they still wouldn't go all the way in. The upshot was that the arms held the hairpieces out of place:

I prefer him without the glasses though.

The uniform is pretty good, but the body is so heavily padded on the front, back and over the shoulders that the shoulders and collar of the shirt sit up much higher than the actual body. That's the cause of the no neck syndrome in the early in hand photos. On mine the the collar of the padding impeded pushing the head down, so the head naturally sits high to compensate for the raised shoulders.

I think the flag on his sleeve is back to front, because the US is always meant to be advancing rather than retreating, or something. Yet it is accurate to the series.

I like the figure overall but not a fan of the hat, the flocking just doesn't work for me. Otherwise I do like the figure and glad I got it blowing all my points etc, well worth $110. The magnetic hair pieces are a good idea for the sunglasses, even though they need some work to be perfect. The holes in mine were tight also and I need to put a pin in their to make it a little deeper to sit properly. Better option than having permanent holes like Hot Toys' Doc Brown. The boots look nice but they are tall; with the pants so tight it looks weird if you're posing with a leg sticking out or something movement; like he's got a log in his foot.
