Hate to say it but this movie's 5 minutes of fame have come and gone. I don't think we'll get any others. Not for a good while, at least. They might be trying really hard to avoid being hit with the licensing banhammer and that's why we've heard next to nill.

Yeah, the movie does seem to have faded. You'd think if there was demand for a bootleg Furiosa there would be demand for an officially licensed Max by HT or someone, but I guess the actor isn't that famous.

There would have been demand for a HT Max (if they bothered with that kind of thing with their Star Wars and Marvel) but George Miller won't have a bar of it.

Problem lies not with demand but with licensure. George Miller notoriously is stingy and refuses to license Mad Max. That's why we haven't seen figures in so long.

There is a huge demand for figures but George Miller won't license it. I know Neca and Chronicle Collectibles have stated they pursued the licenese and were turned down by WB.

Well last i talked to my retailer said this is a huge hit and pretty much sold out and we have 2 companys doing this release. I wouldnt count out more release's money talks and i bet almost ALL of us who bought or p.o this would be down for more release's. I 'll keep my hopes for a Furiosa and more this movie is a goldmine for 1/6 rides if ever got released.

pics from fb long ago cant remember where.

It would be a dream come true if one day we get officially licensed Fury Road and Road Warrior figures.

Yeah the second MM is still my favorite. Far and away the best. Would love to see figures from that movie.

As much as I loved Fury Road, it felt like it took place on another planet, whereas the earlier films were very real and a bit scary - almost like it could actually happen in a year's time.

Fury Road is an instant classic and will remain so I'm sure.

Agree... which makes Miller position about the merchandising quite painful for us collectors.

No official figures/models from the best action movie in years, meanwhile we're drowning in characters from mediocre movies that will be forgotten in a couple of months like BvS.

Miller prolly still remembers those awful N2 Toys from some years backs and shivers.

Miller had litigation with WB for many years I seem to recall - maybe the rights got tangled up in that.

:exactly:

Still nothing on Furiosa or Joe which is annoying, beyond the few customs that have been made. I'd hoped VTS would make them, but still there's nothing... :(

I wouldn't be surprised if those will be worked out down the line, similar to how the Dredd releases from VTS and ArtFigures have been spaced over years.

Maybe the ******** who originally claimed/posted in jest the figure got cancelled is laughing his butt off now because the figure ended up really being cancelled?

If that's the case, may karma truly bite him.
