Going by Chewy, if Hot Toys made a Wampa it would look terrible.....

What's funny about Chewie is the first one is still the best looking one... it's not perfect; but he at least doesn't look like a bee stung him on the lip

And I think the chances of a Wampa from HT are slim to none... Kind or surprised Sideshow didn't release a sculpted one to go with the Tauntaun, but kind of glad they didn't as I probably would have settled for that.

They prolly will after seeing yours.

I imagine customs is what made them make Beetlejuice, jack burton, ash, ect.

Yes, I've been back to working on these pretty steadily for the last few weeks. I don't want to give any false dates and get people unduly excited, but I'm really hopeful to have the first ones done around the end of this month. I know I've thought that before and been wrong, but with the summer my work schedule is much easier so I'm able to get some work done in the evenings rather than try to do it all on the weekends. Once I get the first ones done the rest should move smoothly since most of the parts are ready to go; it's just the assembly, weathering and all that which becomes so time consuming.

I think all customs that have a "for sale" component will be removed, this certainly fits in that area despite being a small run.

Sideshow has been pretty wide-reaching about what they don't want to see, and it includes any and all discussion, mention or photos of figures/items that are unlicensed, no matter how small a "run."

It's a shame to see Sideshow affiliation continue here. Some FB groups have rightfully cancelled their affiliation. I've dropped Sideshow from FB and Twitter and won't be making orders from them.

As an aside, does anyone know where to get status on the Yunsil Leia dress? IMO, if that goes South due to the actions here, Dave owes everyone their money out of his own pocket.

I believe if you are able to see this and post here than other projects are also visible to you. It's all quite confusing though.

So even one-off customs? Wow. I'm guessing I'll need to mull an exploration of onesixthwarriors. The customs are half the fun of this forum for me, so I really can't tolerate this. Sideshow is a company that is truly starting to emerge as extremely lame in so many ways - and I stood by them for years.

Yeah, I just went to go the main custom section and it's just gone.

I really feel for people who have hundreds of dollars outstanding on custom projects. What a weird move.

galactiboy, I'd definitely baton down the hatches on this amazing project, because I'm guessing the SW customs sections will be gone by this weekend.

I have this project and the Leia dress I have money invested in. I can't even find anything on the Leia dress anywhere. I had already paid $150 and was just waiting on hearing about shipping.
