Thanks, but I still think mine looks like poodoo:lol
How did you manage to paint the body? I tried to do it on mine, but it wouldn't take any paint very good...

i used pastel chalk. took a razor and scraped it to a powder into a small dish, mostly a brown, then drybrushed it into the skin. the rubber parts take it better than the chest (harder plastic). added a little black chalk powder for a kind of grime look to the skin as well and whites into the the fur of the boots and loin cloth. i left it unsealed so i would imagine if i handle it much it will come off.

okay, did a few of the tweaks that were suggested.

first i cut down the headband flap.
then repainted the disco headband jewels to gold & silver.
greased his hair with an oil based gel.
added a gloss coat to the eyes.
tried to add a little definition to his banana hands but not much luck...:lol
(so again i ask if anyone knows of larger hand sets available please let me know...........i cant seem to locate any)

thanks for the kind words.......unfortunately the body used isnt very posable, the arms & legs have very limited articulation and the little it does have would never allow it to be put in any iconic pose....:monkey2

Awesome work bro... really like how he's turned out. one body that might be worth a try is the Ace body. Its a lot beefier than most... but the joints are a bit unsightly.

Also, those Jakks Maximum Aggression (or whatever the 12" figures are called) have a better sculpted musculature and are pretty poseable.

thanks GB, i may have to look into those, the main thing i wanted was unexposed joints or a minimum of that. while i would like to be able to pose him better for a hero pose im okay with giving up the articulation for the look. i usually just put them on a shelf and occasionally move them to clean anyway.
Looked good before, looks even more amazing now, good work! :clap

thank you kind sir...:D

I'm really hoping the new HT body has a good Arnold physique... Conan in 1/6 is one of my #1 wants!

At one time I could have bought the figure Les made, and man is that one I regret not being able to afford :monkey2

Its on his website... it was a fully clothed version. Kind of a cold weather travels, really badass though :rock

He looks great I love all the detail in every accessory and the clothing WoW!! Great job. I have tried this version and I have had the hardest time trying to get the clothing to be like yours, again Great Job!!!

thanks bro. i started him a while back and had the hardest time getting it going, then i would make an outfit and wind up not liking it and starting over........took a while but i have it pretty much done except the stand and looking for better hands.

not a complete repaint, more of a touching up with pastels then dulcoat, then glossing the eyes. did hit the brows with a bit of a wash of brown. edit: which was a waste because they got covered up..:lol
