1/6th Greedo and Cantina set

I think we just created an alternate Star Wars Universe NAM!

After a heavy night at the Cross Dressing Cantina, Greedo stumbles towards the hover taxi. One slip in the Bantha Poodoo and his up to his fishnets in crap! A passing Scat Fan by the name of Han unloads a barrel-full across his blouse!

Environment bases would be awesome!

That is one reason why some HT figures look so much better when displayed.

Someone ought to start a thread asking Sideshow to give us more environment bases.

I love environment bases but it may drive the cost per figure up significantly. Currently, there is an almost US$50 to US$70 price differences between a SS and a HT 1/6 scale figure. If the addition of a small environment base means that SS 1/6 figures will cost as much as a HT 1/6 figure, then I rather SS package the environment as an Exclusive with a higher price point while keeping the Regular edition sans environment base at the current price point. This will allow collectors like myself who has a limited budget, to continue to enjoy the hobby. Just my personal point of view though.

The environment is being sold as a separate piece from Greedo, like the emperors throne was.

The number of possible Cantina Aliens is very exciting to think about seeing in 1/6

I'll be happy with any of they guys released in the original Kenner line.

I do hope at least 1 band member is made, even if they do it like Hasbro with 1 figure and 5 instruments, I really like their design.

if ever SSC could make $50 items again it would be the band members. their costumes are so simple.

I'm interested to see how the hands work.... Are we going to have to thread the long fingers through the trigger hole? Or will it be one solid piece? I sure hope not

I'm guessing a solid piece... bendy hands would not look as good and would likely be hard to get realistic paint work done to them. Also, I can't think of a single figure from Sideshow with them.

I'm hoping we get a few extra ones though so we can have more variety with how we pose Greedo.

I'm thinking gun in place hand and a loose gun accessory. Even the softest hand material, it'd be trick to slide the gun into his hand in that position. I'm fine with it permanent in there with an additional loose gun and open hand. I'm sure some thought is considered that most people will want Greedo holding the gun so what would it matter if you can take the gun out or not.

One way around that would be a removable finger. Just put the blaster in his hand then slide in the trigger finger?

Extra hands would be great with this release.... Of course he didn't really do much, movement wise, with them....
