Why has Darklord Dave changed the look of the site?

now I have to edit the background colour of my avatar - it's bugging me.

I love it!... This is my favourite of the 1/6's that you've made-- keep the pics coming...

Truly superb mate.

How long before you finish it and post it to me? :monkey3

DG

Technology is always moving forward DG... go with the flow :)

Can't do much tonight. but i want to get the back panel of the console done. I think this panel would be quite dirty as lots of people would be rushing past it. Plus I love a bit of grime!!

Freakin' wild, man! I'm almost embarrassed to post my stuff since you go that extra mile for authenticity. Gives me something to shoot for. Keep it up!

Dorgmal Snow, I just got the heads up about your project (Thanks Qrest Fourstar).

Looks fantastic so far.

If I can help with any references please give me a how on my email. I gigs worth of references for the falcon cockpit whcih may help.

In regards to the problem with Choowie, and his size. The 3 level floor helps with this problem as it lifts the front console up rather high. The seats are almost at ground level when they sit down, then under the console itself it is cut away for the legs to pass through.

Here are a few pics when I was building the graphics into the original plans.

Doorway

I keep looking at Ozzy's pics and I am in amazement and inspired I am

Well I have started the doorway. I have got some super sculpty stuff from ages ago and I am going to use that to do the padding around the door.

So excited...... the mrs ventured in to the loft where I play with my dollies!! She does not do that much.... she sat on the chair stared in amazement eyes wide face of disbelief. Wow I thought she is really impressed at the 3 flacon cockpits in various stages. I launched into an excited monologue of how The MKI falcon was just too big and the MKII was no better and finally the MKIII was the best..... she sighed (Woow she is really impressed I thought) she stood, obviously to get a better look at the MKIII, shook her head, and said... You sad b***ard... You sat one of you little men on a chair to watch you cut out the doorway..... I hung my head as she patted my head and smiled...... :(

That sounds exactly like something my wife would say! My wife is a metalsmith artist, so she has a great workshop set up in our carriage house and puts me to shame with power tools, so after mocking me and rolling her eyes, she would probably grab the tools out of my hand and say "gimme that! This is how it's done..."

God I love her!:love

Re: Doorway
