There once was a Dorg's from Mcgrass...who's balls were made of fine brass....in stormy weather, they'd clang together....and sparks would fly out of his ass!

Been a hell of a day!! I love my job, but some days I hate kids.... :(

Ow well I will stop wining and get on with it.

Not done too much tonight, brain is cheese and need a good ass kicking.

Painted the sides and back black. Gonna do the other throttle. Post pics in a bit.

Where do you get all those wonderfull little bits and peices for your builds?

"Enquiring minds want to know."

Console second throttle

Built the second throttle and pooped on some buttons and a couple of knobs ha! don't really know how much more to do?

Then it the back panel, top and rear panel. Ow an repaint the buttons, got a bit sloppy and rushed em!

Re: Console second throttle

Right what have I used so far...

Here is the list....

Plasticard
ridged plasticard (for buttons)
two dust caps
two buttons from an old calculator
bits from a speeder bike chacked up and glued together on to two frame making corner pieces for the throttles
and a couple of tiny bits from a camera.

ow and I almost forgot!

Nothing would be possible with out my Guild Vision Vizor enhancement system

LOL You sire are too kind, I have been called many things but I am more of an ARSE than an arteest LOL

Cheers Flosi. I was really sad hat I did not take the time to document the landspeede and the x-wing so I am making sure I phot everything., But I fear I may fill up my photobucket account LOL.
I am also having a go a a forum blog thingy.
Its really cool as you can post as many pics as you like and the photos end up in a continuous stream

You know, I can actually imagine that Han could make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs with that console...SAWEEET!

LOL I bet it would need jump starting and there is no way the Hyper drive would work

Gonna post some close ups of the throttles and they to give folks the idea of the scale

What's great is all the little details have a very "Star Wars" feel to them. Nothing looks too shiny or clean, but more of a realistic "lived-in" look.

Brilliant work :rock

Cheer Galactic boy and Ron. I am so trying not to worry too much about getting it perfect. I really want to retain that 1977 scifi film feel to it. Which is the one thing the new films lost in my opinion.

Well you have caught that feel for sure... and I think there was so much variability in the props (not to mention sparse reference material) that "accurate" seems impossible.
