Can anyone link me to the non-exclusive? I want to place my order but don't want to place down a NRD right now since I'm not 100% on this one.

Had a feeling about the NRD on Grievous, guess the perk is the reward points at the end of the rainbow. Flex pay ordered him, hope it gets a little pushed back, like May. Got a lot of things coming in February.

Hahaha I know how ya feel, I'm in same boat and still tons coming up!

Does anyone know what type of hip articulation Grievous has? I'm hoping it's not just pivot. He should be able to widen his stance.

....and he can. Check out the video link in the post below....the guy really does an effective job of showing how solid the figure is. As others have mentioned, I wish SS would consider doing this kind of "in depth" video look at a finished figure...it really sold me....

Not sure if this was posted or not but there are some really good details on this. I was on the fence but after seeing all the work they put in I'm going to PO this for sure.

...and all of that extra time that has elapsed since the General was first shown at SDCC was well-spent. A lot of great effort was put into making this figure really pop. Is it a little pricy? Well, yeah...but it isn't like SS is going to be able to re-purpose this one over and over (like the clones) and in addition to all of that well-spent R&D, manufacturing this guy is requiring a little more than the usual "standard body" - based figure.

I'm glad that video is out there....if all we had from Sideshow representing this figure right now was that gallery on the order page...well, let's just say it doesn't showcase the figure as much as someone's busy Photoshopping skills...too many of those shots look like big cakes with way too much icing....the figure is lost in them. Would like to see more shots of specific sections(close-ups) of the figure's details...in the case of Grievous, some chest cavity detail, a closer look at the faceplate (the regular one), the hands (highlighting the articulation), the cape lining...just to name a few....and some more extreme posing. Instead, too many of the shots feature the figure in almost the same basic few poses. A little less PS cleverness and more focus on the figure please.....

I'm looking forward to this one a lot...seems like the team at SS has a special affinity for the mechanical characters...both IG-88 and the battle droids turned out to be exceptional....looks like Grievous will too...

Just think....4 figures from SS will now set you back a 1000 bucks.

or 2 starcraft marines... and then theres luke han and taun tauns.. I think im gunna just stick with vader and maybe grievous but im getting priced out really quick, and then theres Hot toys :(

Wow! such an awesome figure! but wait.. the SS exclusive and the regular one has the same price?

they usaully always are, its justa small extra piece of plastic..

Decided im just gunna order a reg through my LCS (dont care for the ex) and for those not wanting to NRD just think that it will be $225 for you when its released

Oh ok! thanks for that... i haven't brought any Sideshow figs before so this could be my 1st.. i really wanted the raynor originally but the price turned me off.

BBTS-ed, in case I change my mind after. But what the hell is with the price hikes recently?!

Cost is pretty reasonable when you consider it's been in development for almost three years, brand new molds for everything and it can't be repurposed for another release. Someone else mentioned that the full costs of R&D probably aren't even fully reflected in the retail price and I could see that.

I agree with the price point is reasonable for the work on grevious, i do however feel vader should have been around the $200 mark.

I have to get some illustration projects and commissions first to afford this.. do they usually set pre-order deadlines for this kinds of items?
