I'm hoping they convert them in batches. I didn't find out about Sideshow and 1/6 until a month after they probably sold out. When did the exclusive sell out anyways?

SO glad I snagged the exclusive on this guy. Having this in-hand and seeing the engineering they clearly put into it is going to be amazing.

This is going to be a really unique SSC figure too - it's a rare figure that they create from scratch.

One thing that is still a bit confusing about this fig - has anyone come up with a reason why the head is so different from the ESB character? It is so radically different, it's obviously intentional:

This is Hasbro 12" fig, movie prop, and SSC (c/u still from video)

It must be based on some other version of IG - CW? EU? Can anyone identify it?

Looks like the head simply has spinning parts . In ESB IG-88 sensors spun around when Vader was briefing the bounty hunters.PLus the figure shown is a prototype.

The only thing putting me off is its lack of screen accuracy to the film prop. Obviously ppl want something with articulation beyond Hasbro's awesome effort but it just seems far too EU for my tastes...

January... :banghead :gah: :monkey2

That sucks!! I have have to wait for Commander Gree as well! Looks l'll be ending the year with Fi'rigan Dan.

I'm glad I canceled the Battle Droids and didn't order the Sandtrooper and Dewback, I couldn't finacially handle 3 releases in back to back months .

At least I'll be able to use Christmas Money to pay for part of soem of it.

I'd be really impressed if that was what caused the delay. Even though it seems like a broader issue (on account of how many other figures were pushed back) it would be cool if they took the opportunity to bring it back to an ESB design.

Isn't it because of that the has 3 seperate parts that can turn? :dunno

I don't know if its just a matter of proper fitting, its seems to be a deliberate attempt to animate an otherise dull figure, while i prefer a movie accurate version I don't mind this, seems to give it more character
