I would also be interested in a recast of the vibro axe the high prices on the secondary market really show how many of the exclusives went to scalpers simply profiting off other collectors which I think is worse than recasting one accessory

You know I think it's observed that sellers think that because a figure is exclusive they can charge twice the going rate. I mean in some cases the exclusive can justify the price. But there is a guy on ebay selling or attempting to sell the SS IG88 exclusive version for $325. I can go on BBTS and buy the non-exclusive version for $175. So $150 is just for the axe! Insane.

And the value isn't something you can really breakdown for a collector of a mint-in-box product. It's the scarcity that determines the value. Actually its the buyer that determines the value because you could ask $1,000 and if there's one guy out there willing to pay it, that's all you need.

That is true. But still to think that a plastic axe would justify such a price increase in the first place. I would think more like $20-$30 at most.

Finally saw an IG-88 at my local store and he looks awesome. Kinda tempting to get one since Boba Fett is coming out soon I think.
