Thats a nice setup. Love it. Is that a Stock SS Boba? The limbs look more proportional.

nope hes on a TT slim and I did a partial vest mod still need to mold it a little better. Contemplating if I want to widen the helmet but I don't think I care enough right now to do it. If I ever get another helmet I may mod it.

So the 'vest mod' everyone talks about...there is a piece of plastic or cardboard inside the vest and it can be removed for a slimmer / snugger fit?

Yes. And if you want to take it further, Darklord Dave pointed out where an extra stitch can be added on each side to make it conform more closely to the body. Heating the bottom piece of armor to give it more curve might help too, but the plastic is pretty tough.

Is it removeable as it is inside a pouch...or just sitting insisde or does it require any kind of surgery to remove it?

I mainly did it to free up the plates for now so they individually move instead of one huge piece. But this also allows for people to conform the vest more closely to the chest for a great fit which I will be doing.

Here's my review vid on IG-88. I agree with the fragile feel the figure has but I do think he looks great overall. I also compare SS Boba to a Medimix Boba in it as well if interested. I ended up with an extra light up base that will go to Bossk so that corrects that issue for me as well. :)

Like the Medimix Boba-Fett, joebizz (chest armour shape and colour, especially, looks so much better... also like the overall height better, too). Going back to IG, wish I'd gotten in on the exclusive, back in the day. That and Momaw's staff are probably my two favourite throwbacks to Hasbro. They both add something to the figure's presentation, even if they're not screen accurate.

Thanks man and I agree that the ax is a cool accessory either way. Especially with the simple look of IG-88, it does add something to him.

I wish I had got the ex. I really want a stupid vibro-ax/long kitchen knife accessory. Why would he need a ka-nife any way?? His arms are metal, w pincers! Pretty sure he could stab pretty well with his appendages?

Sorry to jump in this thread way late but I ended up finally picking him up at SDCC this year (just regular version, I was sure the EX was long sold out until it popped up on SSC today).

Does everyone (or anyone for that matter) find his pincers completely floppy and even with the wrist pegs on the guns find it hard to get him to hold even a simple pose? He is always aiming at the ground about five feet in front of him.

I also saw the CG diagram of his legs moving at the knees, mine don't seem to move at all (on their product page it says working telescoping legs, how does that work, mine seem really stiff?).

I think he looks cool but a little disappointed in how my articulation is working out on him. Also I saw someone mentioning the fact that I now have two bounty hunters on light up stands and then Bossk gets a regular old stand so when they are together it looks sorta off... Wonder why they went and did that.

from what I recall a lot of people have had the same problem, I know I did. Becareful, but yes the legs do extend you have to work it, the paint dryed to the figure thats why you cant extend the legs. And I would get in touch with SS about the loose arm joints, there is nothing you can do to fix that. Sorry about your luck.

I know your pain everytime I go to reposition him I end up spending 10 minutes just trying to get his pincers or arms just right do to the figure moving as soon as I let go. But in the end I am happy with what I got. As far as the light up bases go I have IG-8& and bossk on the light ups and boba on the ex base which looks good....when the other bounty hunters get made is when the problems will start.

Mine has a busted light in the head only stays on if you hold it down and I glued the glue into the peg as it would never stay there
