I passed on the regular pack so I could get the Stap w/battle droid.

Hope they don't delay it! Really looking forward to that one.

In fact I'm afraid to put strain on the joint and break.

They won't... but grip the neck, not the head lol) when you pull. And I'd suggest using a blow dryer to loosen it up; just to be on the safe side.

Every time I play with my Battle Droids...I feel a deep sense of gratitude to Sideshow for the articulation that they added into these figures.

Yeah, Sideshow really did their homework. Figures like the Battle Droids and IG-88 show me that Sideshow is in this for the long haul.

How are you guys displaying these guys? I have them propped up against a wall since I'm worried they'll tip over. With the antennae extended on their backback, I'm worried it'll break them. I've never really had to display a figure without a stand before.

i picked up extra stands and have them on those

I have had no problem displaying my Battle Droids. They have looked like this...

for months.

I just used some spare stands and with the crotch-grabber arms. Those worked just fine and keep them standing.

Is the droid with the STAP the same as one of the droids in the two-pack?

It should be... although the weathering pattern on him will likely be different.
