Only just found this thread, what the hell is going on in the 1/6 world? I can barely keep with each damned awesome release and I spend a reasonable amount of time on this forum. Obviously not enough. Have to give up my porn hours and transfer them to here. The result is the same.

I have not held it no nor did I purchase the new Fett. I did have the original one they did and it was ok. Not great but ok. Well, you're more than welcome to feel that way but I think the evidence that have so far proves you're wrong. As far as what I said I hold true to that as I've been seeing the same thing for years from the Medicom gang.

No, I think what you have is plenty of members seeing what the facts are. Thats plain and simple.Both are awesome but one is better.

You've not been around long enough to know why Medicom catches the flak they do. Plus you have the fact their stuff isn't as good as SS or HT stuff. If others that are hardcore Medicom fans feel different thats cool but don't get upset when the majority thinks your nuts.

When a company takes steps to improve their quality and people ignore it because of the past, that's stubbornness and ignorance. Take Ford, Kia, or Hyundai, for example.

Tsk tsk, Josh. If you were doing a direct comparison of Sideshow ESB to Medicom ESB, remember that the Medicom figure is 5 years old (almost 6). Comparisons that far apart (such as the Iron Man line) are apples and oranges.

Medicom has listened to the whiners and improved. Those that continue to rip them are only doing so because of the much older figures. The bodies have improved tenfold. The paint apps and sculpting have remained outstanding.

Sideshow has improved, as well. The prices of figures absolutely reflect that. I'm tired of arguing. Anyone who feels that Medicom's Fett (ESB or ROTJ) has been humiliated has my sympathies.

But it's funny to me how noone has remotely addressed the points that have been brought up that are *gasp* critical regarding the figure.

I know that this is a Sideshow zombie board. But I thought that the whole purpose was to discuss figures in the 1/6 realm, even if that means being critical of the almighty Sideshow. Read through my earlier posts again, fellas. I am attempting to discuss, not bash. Am I right? Wrong?

I would love for someone -anyone- to debate the facts concerning the two.

I did not come to this thread to bash Sideshow and praise Medicom. My ONLY argument has been with those that want to automatically and totally dismiss the two previous Medicom Boba Fett figures because of this Sideshow version. There's a BIG difference.

I think the medicoms look great...but I.ve always had an issue with hight. I'm counting on it that the SS one is just right on this part. I've already sent a mail to my retailer to ask for the exclusive preorder. Just loving what sideshows bringin' on......

I think anyone who immediately dismisses the ROTJ medi Fett as inferior doesn't have the figure. Most people who I've seen critique the 2nd Medi Fett offering don't even have it. It's a fantastic piece and it's the only Medi figure I own. SS will be hard pressed to top it when they get around to making their ROTJ version. Will they? Perhaps, but I love that figure.
