I don't mind the helmet being removable so long as there's just a blank, black head underneath. Honestly, if they gave it a removable helmet with prequel guy's head underneath, I would want this figure less. I know you could never take the helmet off, or glue it on, or whatever. But just knowing that reference to the prequels was under there would bug me. In my mind, Boba Fett isn't the clone of Django Fett, with all the baggage entailed. He's just some anonymous, bad-ass bounty hunter, as he was originally intended to be.
hate on the EU all you want, but it made the BEST comment about Fett's face.

I am very happy that Sideshow has made this figure. I love the Medicom Fetts but I missed out on all of them and now the ROTJ Fett is kinda hard to find. Now I can get this one. Not too worried about the skinny arms, I mean worse comes to worst I can swap the bodies. This looks great but I will fall out of my chair if we see this:

hahaha... EU writers can't let Fett die but they killed Chewie. silliness.

The detail on the SS version, the weathering etc, looks really good. And the base is awesome.

The only problem for me, and it's a biggie, is that the body it's all on just doesn't look natural at all.

I imagine that on a Hot Toys body though, some customizers are going to be able to turn this into pretty much the ultimate Boba Fett.

The armor body is kind of an odd one... it actually hangs and poses very naturally. but; because its so thin it looks odd unless well covered.

I'm hoping Sideshow left enough material so the clothing can look a bit baggier around the arms. Aside from that, I'm digging the overall look of him.

This is on an Armor Body??? Somewhat odd choice....

lets wai and see more pis before we say "his arms are too skinny"
they look bad in ONE picture. in one pose. that could be lens distortion, a bad pic, whatever.

lets wait till we get a better look.

Odd choice indeed if it is the case. It has more of a jumsuit look with metal pieces here and there. A regular pro body may be more suitable to Fett.

I'm not 100% positive about that... but that was the suggestion from Silent Surfer. One aspect that would make sense is the height should be the same for all clones and Fetts :huh

I don't know what body this is on, but if I had to guess what's going on with the arms, I'd say they used the Clone body so the costume and armor don't look too bulky, which means the arms are skinnier than regular figure bodies, and Boba has no elbow or bicep pads to hid that. With the arms in certain poses, it looks like the material is being pulled tight, showing the true width of the arms, but in others, the sleeves look fine.

I don't think they mis-taylored the outfit. Boba Fett was a skinny guy in a lot of layers of costume anyway. If you look at screen shots, the inner sleeve looks pretty skinny, while the outer/upper sleeve looks loose and fully. Like gilactiboy said, it's probably just a futzing issue. Stuffing the sleeves may do the trick. I'll look into it when I see this baby in person tomorrow.

A stand with the symbol on top left of his armor.

Honestly one I'm not too excited about... may just get a regular and save 10%.

A specialized standard stand similar to the Clone Commanders only with the symbol from his chest as the Exclusive has me thinking that I might go elsewhere and try to save a couple of bucks...

I'd love for the ROTJ version to include a bendable Sarlacc tentacle that you can wrap around him similar in construction to the snakes with Yoda.

I may do the same. I was going to use my points on him, but I might save the points for Grevious instead, if he's got a good ex.

on this shot, the right arm looks fine when the left arm looks like it's been stuffed with something under the suit.

Looks like skin color under his right gauntlet. Is the clone/armor body cast in flesh color too?

Yeah, I can definitely see that. If that is the case and limb thickness is an issue I'm sure that adding some padding to them, if needed, wouldn't be all that tough.

I can't wait to finally add Boba to my collection!:panic: I've come so close to pulling the trigger on a Medicom more times than I could count. :monkey2

Me thinks this is correct way to go. Yes.

Good call. Yes, this way to go. Ooga Booga!

Although, what the heck is Grievous' exclusive gonna be? An extra lightsaber?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The EX being a stand is a pretty odd choice for a figure that already comes with a deluxe light up stand. :dunno Makes for an easy pass...

The dissection of this piece is hilarious. I've been dying for an SSC Fett since the line came out so much so that when my wife saw it in my computer screen she said "Well gotta budget for that! Maybe two!" as she walked out of the room. Now his arm might be too skinny or the height a little off but.....happy wife.....happy life and I ain't arguing with her. Ordered.
