Maybe I will blow my RPs on this, so I'll essentially lock myself into the bounty hunter collection. I have had many 1/6 figures over the years, but only hung onto three of them, the Hot Toys Kane, Dallas, and Big Chap. The ESB bounty hunters are poised to change that.

if it had a removable helmet, i'd want it.
I don't mind the helmet being removable so long as there's just a blank, black head underneath. Honestly, if they gave it a removable helmet with prequel guy's head underneath, I would want this figure less. I know you could never take the helmet off, or glue it on, or whatever. But just knowing that reference to the prequels was under there would bug me. In my mind, Boba Fett isn't the clone of Django Fett, with all the baggage entailed. He's just some anonymous, bad-ass bounty hunter, as he was originally intended to be.

IF the removeable helmet was Jeremy Bullock, then I wouldn't mind, anyone else though, forget it.

Didn't the first Medicom Boba Fett (maybe the 2nd one as well) have a chin sculpted in the bottom of the mask. That way you still got the illusion of a sculpted face underneath, but it wasn't removeable.

I'd like something along those lines just so he looks good from all angles. but definitely no interest in a headsculpt, especially of a PT clone head :lecture

:hi5: Love that print! Glad I scored one (albeit unsigned though)...I plan on hanging mine up behind the 'eventual' ESB Boba Fett PF...

Han Carbonite PF is going to be hung up behind the ROTJ Boba PF! :yess:

As for this 1/6 SS ESB Fett, I think I'll pose him either with IG-88 and (eventually) Bossk, or with my Code 3 Slave 1. :clap

I'd only want a Jeremy Bulloch sculpt (if any) under the helmet too. It could also be reused for a figure of that one Imperial that hid behind Leia in Cloud City.

i get your point. but your mind aside, Lucas says he looks like the guy from the prequel, and i typically defer to his judgement. on the other hand, he wouldn't even necessarily need to have Jango's face. and there's no reason he can't have Jeremy Bulloch's or Jason Wingreen's face instead. i just think a removable helmet would really set this figure apart from the other 1:6 Bobas out there. and if Jango's face really bothers you, just don't take the helmet off. win-win for everybody.

I hope we say more Fetts (after the ROTJ version) in the future. In the video Jared Chapman (I think) said they wanted to do many version of Fett. I'd love to see the prototype helmet, the white helmet, and the other prototype helmet in 1/6th scale.
